Just back from watching this fight Did anyone else watch it If so, what are your thoughts ?

First of all I will say that it was technically one of the best boxing fights I’ve ever seen Both fighters were outstanding. I unlike some also thought it was an extremely close fight with many rounds extremely close and hard to score

Personally I had the fight down as either 114-114 or 115-113 to Lomachenko Im
not quite sure about round 8 I wasn’t sure if Heney won it or it was level If I give it to Heney I have the fight a draw If I score it a draw Loma wins on my card

Judgrs scored it 115-113 115-113 116-112 to Heney The last score was a joke and not indicative of the closeness of the fight. Where Heney was given round 10 when Loma clearly won it That round snd the final round which Heney clearly won were by far the easiest to score What I found interesting was the judges scores in round 8 where I was not sure to give it to Heney or have it even 2 of the judges gave that round to Heney one gave it to Loma

In all one of the best fights I’ve seen as it was of such a high technical quality and so close throughout I take my hat off to both fighters and I’d love to see a rematch

Just watched it.

in a nutshell, round 10-12 were spectacular. Credit to both guys but I think the result flattered Haney. I personally would have given it to Loman. His expression after the decision said it all. He was never going to get the nod in a close fight on points in the US. He had to knock him out and he knew that towards the end of the ninth. Came bloody close as well.
