No it doesn't Count. Many would want and agree with the "Treaty now" sentiment. Unfortunately, the NO vote we are looking at on this site is mostly down to MSM/Lib/ social media negative propaganda. Their main target is the Government. Of course there are also racist attitudes among us. In the 1969 Referendum which determined only that the indigenous be counted in the census, 10% voted "Nyet" - that's our racist core group. That referendum was bi partisan and media supported but in the current situation, with the public division, the racists who were too embarrassed to vote "NO" in '69, now have free rein to join that 10% hard core.

[QUOTE=Andrew Walker; Are you referring to Rocky claiming Rupert was once aligned with the left If so this may enlighten you
What's your point? Everyone knows about the Lenin bust and the alleged left wing youth and it may be true but it has no relevance to the present. Right Wing is the appropriate designation for Rupe.
What made me smile was old Keith in the soldier's outfit. He wasn't a soldier of course, he was a war correspondent but he loved the military drag like so many other war urgers. Rupe was a huge supporter of the Iraq invasion which shows that the fruit doesn't fall far from the tree.

That's about it Count and no better illustration than we see in LNP policy of the past and present. Yet another rules based arrangement where the "rules" are those of the self interest of the powerful.
You'd think that after the years of Tory inertia on just about everything apart from expanding war museums and antagonising out biggest trade partner, that people would want to give them an almighty kick in the arse regarding their position on the Voice but not so. They're "confused" like Sheeple always are - when in doubt, vote for the rich.

Okay Loki but what was it about? Was it the suggestion that Murdoch is a closet Socialist evidenced by a nothing article by some MSM hack?
You better watch it or you'll be added to those nights out with Jax and Iz at the Merrylands.

I don’t like repeating myself But seeing you amuse me as much as you do I will make an exception All I did was add some factual information Some Food For Thought to keep this wonderful thread moving along Now thinking of Food For Thought and never one to miss an opportunity to post a good old sing song what a wonderful song it is by UB40 and a great album to boot as a young kid I used to take this from My older Brothers collection and play Signing Off regularly

A night out Merrylands RSL with Jaxxx and Izzy a scary thought Mind you always one for a laugh I’d imagine as painful as the majority of the political commentary and talk of fisher folk would be. I’d find Jaxxx on the dance floor screaming out that Alicia Bridges falsetto highly amusingLast edited by Andrew Walker; 08-17-2023, 11:48 AM.When you trust your television
