I'm wondering about my keen anticipation re the coming footy season and realising that it will be a welcome diversion from the real wold of the present which offers nothing but frustration.

* Israel provides a compliant Western media with a diversion from the ICJ's decision of "plausible grounds for genocide" and the focus shifts to a dozen forced confessions by UN staff regarding their "participation" in October 7 - That's 12 out of 13000 employees even if the claim is true. Result - the Sheeple feel a bit better about watching a genocide in progress.

* Imran Khan, immensely popular at home but reviled in the US for not taking sides against Russia and/or China. Result, leaked diplomatic cables suggest a US fomenting of yet another take down of a democratically elected government. The US abhors neutrality.

The reversal of the Libs' tax largesse to the rich has been the only bright spot. That and the horror of Murdoch media at the unfairness of it all - class warfare, stymieing of aspiration etc, etc when the truth is that most personal wealth in Oz is inherited wealth. Still, the amusing thought occurred that Jaxie, Carlotta and Rocko would be livid. These are the unfathomably stupid people who put right wing "ideology" before all else. The multi billionaire Hamas officials are living it up in Qatar and will never be these so called Martyrs - they even said they needed the blood of children , women and elderly to reinvigorate their so called revolution.

The tunnel system runs the length and breadth of Gaza with entrances and exits in and between Schools , Hospitals , Mosques , Residential buildings so one can say as a result civilians are being used as human shields as no Shelters were built and the Tunnels were for Hamas Terrorists to shelter from the bombing.

Hamas have accumulated a significant supply of weaponry over the past 16 or so years which is stored throughout the Tunnel complex in weapon arsenals - The tunnels are quite sophisticated with bunkers, meeting rooms and living quarters- The materials for the inside of the tunnels - concrete and steel for an example was donated for civil constructions use in Gaza.

As far as the UNRWA goes that's the tip of the iceberg in not only how Hamas infiltrated such organisations but who is accountable for all the International Funds that have been provided for all these years - obviously a lot has gone on the building of the tunnel complex , military budgets and in the pockets of Hamas officials over the past 16 or so years.

Predictably, the King knows more about the nature of the conflict than does the ICJ or the high profile South African legal team that put the Genocide case together. Who is right? My money is on the King.

The rule of thumb in such matters is to always blame the victims because we know that the US is never an instigator because it is a decent honest broker. The mess in Syria is down to the US which, flushed with the "success" of the Arab Spring, sought to make a clean sweep. likewise the other players that he mentions all of them victims of US cultural and economic hegemony.
