[QUOTE=mightyrooster: Very disappointing Paddo. I thought this thread would be different.
I'm on a mission MR, you should have realised that by now. I have the nagging feeling that Penners are far too nonchalant about the way/s that we are led by the nose. Tienanmen Square is a biggie and people's realisation that it is/was a fiction would, hopefully, detract from their naive trust in America, mostly wrought by soft power - movies, music etc.

You have more hope of selling ice to eskimos than convincing people here. Why even when our VC winner has been exposed the likes of heckly and jeckyk chose to bury their heads in the sand and sleep through the staticWhen you trust your television

I was intimately involved at times with a real good sort back in the 60s who was, when an opportunity presented itself, a celebrity fcuker and was hiding the salami with Alf Garnett who came out here fairly regularly. Before Alf she was doing Pat Boone that pop singing "religious" hypocrite whom believer sheeple venerated. Google his hit, "The Teen Commandments" - what a laugh. We live in a world of delusion
And speaking of delusion, here's the debunk of yet another myth that the sheeple have bought without questioning - the A-Bomb and the end of WW2.

I watched a doco on Sinead O'Connor last night on SBS. Boy, was she an heroic denouncer of delusion and didn't the US media do a job on her. Now there's a brain washed nation for ya. Turned out that everything that she said about the Catholic clergy and the Iraq War is now generally accepted. Like Assange, crucified for telling the truth.

if you look at what happened in okinawa it would only have taken a month of fighting on the mainland for the death toll to have been worse than from the bombs.
not saying that dropping the atomic bombs was the right decision - the killing of innocent people was disgusting - but it might have saved lives.
