By uplift, I mean when do the movers come to pick up your stuff?

Ours was collected in the first week of March and now, 4 months on, still no sign of it!

I get the whole issue with the dog. The costs were the reason we sent ours to the resort that is my parents place in QLD. Leaving her up there was one of the hardest things we’ve had to do but although we could afford it, the option to leave here at a place with 2 cooked meals a day, 2 other dogs to play with, a huge yard and a pool to swim in, meant we decided not to pay the $16000 one way!

Don’t get wrong, she worth more than money but we had a perfectly good option to use instead of getting ripped off.

You made the right decision for sure. Dog lovers understand other dog lovers. Being apart is hard but she was much better off staying with your parents. Apart from the expense I think the whole travel process is not easy for pets. I hate getting ripped off more than losing to Souffs.
