Maybe some hope for the US of A, a family member who was talking to me about RFK told me Biden is running again too.

We could have a presidential race between a guy residing in a nursing home against a guy running from Gaol lol.....

I haven't been keeping up to date re USA political news except the click bait on Trumps legal woes lately lol....

He said it because it is true. He has the science, facts and research to back up his claims.

He said COVID-19 was "ethnically targeted" to attack certain ethnic groups while sparing Ashkenazi Jews and Chinese people. He backed up his claim by linking it to a scientific study from July 2020 that, he claimed, showed how certain properties of the virus made "ethnic Chinese, Finns and Ashkenazi Jews" less susceptible to it than Black or Caucasian people. The researchers hit back and pointed out it was genetic research conducted early in the pandemic seeking clues to the risk factors for severe symptoms and said "this type of misinterpretation will hurt academic research to help us end pandemic"

Then when his brother sisters niece nephew and both sides congress smashed him about it he went damage control and said he was misquoted.

I think he should jump ship and become a Republican - he would be a perfect running partner for Donald Trump

Yeah I don't want to make out like I know that much about politics. He is a lifelong democrat who has lost faith in hi party. But rather than switch teams he wants to shake the party up and get back closer to their original principles.

I really liked that he refused to talk trash about Trump too. He refers to Trump with the appropriate tone and demeanor that would be expected in reference to a former president.

Another thing that he is doing is appearing in longform media, meaning mostly poodcasts. Lets see how it goes. He is polling very well at the moment and is actually already ahead of Sleepy Joe Biden.

When I think about it he seems to have a level of integrity that is rare.

I'm not sure where the integrity part comes into it? He is a environmental lawyer who will say anything to be heard- much to the annoyance of the Kennedy family. Did you hear is interview with Elon Musk?

Some of his claims included that US didn't have any mass shootings before Prozac was on the market, 5G transmission towers are controlling our behaviour, The CIA had a role in former President Kennedy’s assassination and that the agency may one day come after him, gun ownership in Switzerland (27.6 firearms per 100 persons) is similar to the USA ( 120 firearms per 100 persons),....and the list goes on.

Re his polling numbers- he is ahead of other democratic presidential nominees but way behind Biden- by a good 40 point basis. His numbers have surged with Republican voters. In the end all that doesn't matter because there's never a real threat to the incumbent - it's not as if there will be a debate between all the nominees that may sway opinions. I guess it would be interesting if Biden kicks the bucket!

Personally i think both Biden and Trump are too old for another 4 years-and none of those waiting in the wings on both sides have much going for them. If i was living in the US id get the hell out!

Good points RR ... just one quick point. I also firmly believe that the CIA had his uncle killed and more than likely played a role in the death of his father and people like MLK Jnr. Sounds nuts I know but I've been convinced. Bobby Jnr was there when his father was killed and hearing him describe his train journey with his father's body I was really moved. Personally, I dislike the left and right equally. If not Kennedy they certainly need a new direction.
