  • Jizzy's 2023 Japan diary

I'm braindead today but let's see if I can summarise my trip thus far in some sort of logical order (and take some of the raw emotion outta it). I'll start from the most recent events and then go backwards from there.

    - Today has involved a lot of court matters and paperwork (due to what happened yesterday). I'm brain dead, overheated (crazy humidity) and a bit edgy right now but have kept my cool.

    - Yesterday I saw my daughter. The step-dad (who always interferes with my access... think I've previously documented all that shyte so won't repeat) planned an 'incident' at the end. Basically we went into a quiet corner of a mall to sit down and then he said '[daughter's name] has something to tell you... listen to her request!!!' She then in a fake/scripted manner said she's not a foreigner, I'm not her dad, she hates foreigners and Japan is the only place she wants to be. He then kept asking 'did you hear? Did you understand her?' I said 'yes, I heard what you asked her to say. Please stop interfering with our relationship - I never badmouth you to her despite the fact you an abductor and are always trying to push my buttons'.

    - The above escalated when I said (all in Japanese with him pretending he didn't understand but clearly being triggered by it all) 'mate do you even know why we have this arrangement?!?!? Your wife tried to kill me!!! I never badmouth her but my daughter is old enough to know and would remember. In Australia your wife tried to stab me and my daughter to death. I saved my daughter's life and almost died. I had paid for years of therapy to recover - so quit acting like you know better, mate! You're a disgusting abductor. I let my daughter visit her grandparents in Japan during the summer holidays. You then filed sham divorce and adoption papers before going into hiding and telling her I don't exist. We have a court order to correct this!!! You have repeated your opinion that my daughter doesn't want to see me over and over... it's BORING!!! The court did not accept this submission. Rather, is accepted that it is in her best interests to have a MEANINGFUL RELATIONSHIP with both parents. You have no right to "supervise" my visitation and you are in breach of the court order. We have 2 days left... either you can grow up and behave like an adult, or I'll be going to the court to report your breaches of its order'.

    - After claiming he didn't understand (and trying to cut me off by howling at me) he started smiling/laughing and sarcastically saying 'hahah no... you are wrong... I am her dad... she doesn't want to see you... did you hear her? She is not Australian, she is Japanese'.

    - As part of their script he then texted my daughter and asked her to throw a fake tantrum. She started shouting that Australia is bad and that all aliens are bad (using racist language). I calmly responded with 'I'm here because I love you. I respect you are 100% Japanese and 100% Australian... you are also 100% Italian! We are not aliens. We have strong family connections with these countries and this makes us special! I am proud of you. You are my beautiful daughter'. After receiving another text message from the step dad (who was now on the phone to somebody from an online group of Japanese nationalists who promote abduction/alienation), she started screaming and kicking a wall (breaking the wall in the process). This alerted people from a nearby volunteer centre and the step-dad (while on the phone to an abduction advocate, providing him with advice) started saying 'call the police... call the police... this alien is hurting my daughter!!! He is tormenting her!!! He illegally came to visit her and you can see how traumatic this is!!! call the police!!!'

    - Police were called and I walked into the volunteer centre to get away from d!ckhead's rambling. He was on speakerphone so as I left I told the abduction advocate to get a life, noting that they have NFI what it's like to be a child who's forced to go through abduction/alienation. I then said 'I know your name [her name]... I wonder what your employer would do if I told them about your side hustle as an abduction advocate?' She then kept denying her name & saying my Japanese is shyte, with me saying 'what language are we speaking? JAPANESE!! I heard him call you that'. She then started saying my Japanese is terrible and that she doesn't understand me. I said 'whatever... [her name]' to which she said 'that's not my name, I promise!!! Don't make false claims to that poor girl's employer!!! Leave her out of it!!!' I said 'don't worry [her name], I don't plan on making any false claims to [her employer]' and walked while she kept anxiously denying her name/employer. She's a well known 'women's rights' advocate who's previously interfered (and I know her voice as it has a massive tone of arrogance) so I knew it was her.

    - Cops came. The step-dad proudly greeted them and kept demanding that they arrest me for punching him, shouting at 'his' daughter (kept asserting I'm not her dad... he is) and making them both feel very scared because I'm large and foreign. After an hour of him doing this the cops talked to the volunteer centre and all the staff said 'no he didn't punch anybody... he was calm the whole time... also, that's clearly his daughter with the brown hair, right?' The cops then talked to me briefly and asked what I was planning to do. I told them I've got a court order for visiting my daughter and they can speak to my lawyer if they have any questions about it. They talked to my lawyer (who I called using my phone) and then I said 'my plan is to go to the court to report this as a breach of the order... I have no further business with the step-dad. No. I don't want to hurt him. Tonight? Look to be honest I'm pretty tired. After going to the court I'm going to go for a long run, grab a beer and find a nice hot-spring to chill out in'.

    - The police left. I went to the court and... yeah... blah haha. I filed a heap of paperwork and made a few phonecalls.

    - Before yesterday I had a few days of recreation time. Might do a second post about that later on. However in short I did some retro game hunting (found some real gems in mint condition), stayed in a tiny hot-spring village and did lots of running/swimming.

    - Oh and to kill the chronology, last night I went to a Korean friend's bar. Think I've described her before but basically she was a Tokyo hostess for about 20 years (so has a massive presence about her - VERY beautiful and has a certain presence about her hospitality). After retiring from the bright lights, she used the money she made to buy a small town bar with a nice little house above it. The bar's sorta hidden away but it's a hub because all the local North Koreans go there. It has a name but all the locals affectionately call it her house. There's a certain vibe to the bar as nobody shares their personal stories there or has a sulk, but there's supportive/loving vibes going on all around. I will not confirm or deny whether any of the patrons are fishermen. However, I figured old mate would enjoy this one.

Mate look after yourself, thats some heavy going.

I can't imagine how painful that would be, an enforced estrangement with your daughter.

Thanks for sharing anyway, I hope thats maybe at least a bit cathartic for you.

Keep backing your judgement, it's yours for a reason.

Wow, sorry to hear about the drama you're going through again Izzy. Take care and don't let them bring you down. Keep fighting for your rights and I hope you get to spend some quality time with your daughter.

I reckon there is a pretty good chance Ism has got himself locked up. Personally I love the Japanese and I love my Japanese family. They also think the sun shines out of my arse crack. Wonderful people and a wonderful culture.

Not sure about your first claim but I agree that the Japanese have such a wonderful, polite culture. They are perfectionists, extremely polite, quiet, unassuming and so keen to help and look after you.

They really are MR. Its very easy for a gaijin to get arrested in Hong Kong for drunken behaviour and or violence. They take you straight to jail and for 7 days your family will have no idea what has happened to you.

It wouldn’t surprise me with Hong Kong. As for ism I guess we should wait for the next journal update!

FWIW just confirming I'm severely drunk at 3am but not locked up. I've just been grinding myself through the painful process of convincing Japanese family court that... blaaah, will tell the tech details later

Funny story, just had two completely random wins (while drunk) after a full week of busts...

                        1. Went to my old favourite bar and met a girl who's one of my daughter's teachers. BOOM. Without identifying myself or my situation, I confirmed there's a mixed-race girl of the same (uncommon) name at her school).

                        2. I walked into a completely random bar and quickly found out it's owned by a (western) friend's in-laws. They've divorced and are no longer on talking terms but faaaark the grandparents are legends. I complimented them heavily on how they've let their granddaughters learn English properly, sent them my best wishes and got multiple rounds of liquor on the house. Left me with GREAT vibes about how everything can be done properly...

[QUOTE=A Country Member; I'm not sure publishers are up for this style of story. Maybe stick to blogs and forums.

Fully agree Count. It's an open invitation to racist attitude forming. Though I'm no fan of Japan's cultural and political leadership, the same types of Family Law predicaments also apply in Oz.

Disappointing to see MR showing her MSM prejudice re Hong Kong at #9. I'm not wanting to appear to always be on MR's case but she is something of a Lady Madonna on the site and should be more aware of that influence. There are plenty of pieces on Menadue that paint HK in a much more objective way than does our/the West's media misinformation.

For hers and others benefit I repeat that Menadue's site is an[B] independent alternative[/B] which features highly reputable contributors. Today's includes a piece on media bias by Brian Toohey a highly respected and independent investigative journalist. What he has to say might resonate with MR?

Paddo it would appear you are on my case again. My comment about HK had nothing to do with media bias and infiltration. Certain countries are very strict on drugs and even put people on death row as a result. If you travel into another country which has stringent anti drug laws then you suffer the consequences. As it turns out I misread what Voodoo was saying. HK obviously doesn't care about drugs. I was wrong.
By the way, I do not consider myself to be the Lady Madonna of this site whatever that means.
