  • So Paddo is saying is that if the "elite", who can control certain elements of the media, can convince you that a YES vote will result in you losing something, then they can equally convince you that democracy will result in you losing something. Theres nothing more satisfying for Murdoch than to gain the support of those who would be hurt most by his doctrine

In my opinion this is true. Just look at the Trump rallies-all his supporters are the ones who stand to lose the most if he is in power. They dont realise it because he talks like them, says what they want to hear and makes them feel like "he is one of us, he represents us". In truth he couldn't give a shit about anything besides his own fat arse. He wants democracy gone and he to be the dictator leader (this is where i earn the ire of Paddo- you can't have it both ways) like those who he openly admires likes Putin. It's not far fetched-he says it-he is open about changing the constitution, open about banning all media who oppose him and very open about controlling elections.

Most times i need to dust off the old thesaurus to understand Paddo's post!

Classic Trumpism. The self interested rich have persuaded you that the Intelligentsia are your enemies. That "virtue signalling" and "woke" stuff is just "Hey look over there" and straight out of the Right's playbook - the billionaires who gouge and wanna cut your wages while claiming to be on your side against the "Elites". Sucker!
No I have no envy towards the rich

        • Actually I think the NO campaign slogan was brilliant "If you don't know VOTE NO" it suckered the YES campaign into telling people to look into it. And the more people look into it the more aware people have become of Voice,Truth, Treaty and how divisive and racist the whole concept is.

I didn't say that regarding who referendum- i'm just pointing out the comparison Paddo has made with the media's influence over the referendum and democracy. Do you agree with Paddo or not?

Actually it was brillant-you're right- and it will work. It gave all the dumbarses an easy out without having to read or understand one word of it.

A more balanced message is "if you dont know, then vote informal". I mean why should either side get a vote from someone who is playing 2 up with their vote?

Do you know that when the media or a left leaning politician say that "democracy is under attack" or "they are protecting democracy". They really mean the globalist leftist agenda.

To put it simply For as long as I’ve known the media has always had some sort of influence in regards to democracy and how many people think

In regards to the referendum as I try very hard to avoid msm and I rarely watch commercial news I’m not entirely sure which way they are pushing from the very little I see I think it’s towards yes However I don’t see enough to say that categorically

Because they are told they are . And unfortunately they believe it.

You could just write nothing at all. Or will they count that as yes as well
