The result in the ACT was certainly a surprise tho.
Canberra elites vote YES, who would have guessed it?
It just shows how out of touch with mainstream Australia the Canberra public serpents, press gallery and politicians are.
The whole place should be closed down.
In more good news. NZ have voted out their socialist government.1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

Wow, what a GREAT day for Australia...the "Yes" Vote smashed in every state.
And how great was Jacinta Price in her speech...especially liked what she said about those academic activists...those egoistical virtue signalers who think they know more about Aboriginal issues than the Aboriginals themselves. Suck it up u know nothing neviles...there are a few on here (yes that means u Paddo Cult and a few others).
Jacinta Price also wants the end of guilt politics...and yet the "Yes" losers still don't get it as they want to lower the Aboriginal flag for a week...lol....yet many aboriginal communities voted "NO".
Time to celebrate..

As foreshadowed, the referendum result shows a clear class divide in Oz. The way that you voted is a good indicator of your socio economic status and the level of your formal education. With that in mind, the referendum gave Dutton and the Right wing media the opportunity to further tap into the conservative instincts of the unengaged (the polite term for the 2 headed monster, the airheads and meatheads).
Remember that, following last election, he slagged off at the Teals protesting that the party he led would henceforth be wooing the outer suburbanites. Of course making the Referendum issue partisan and the heft of the right wing media monopoly was a hurdle too high for reason to clear.
As I'm also continually pointing out, our destinies increasingly appear to rest with the disconnected and the intellectually limited who think and act emotionally, clearly unable to put rational thoughts together and act critically and independently.
Can this local brand of Trumpism now flourish? It's not the first time that the bovine masses have been persuaded that billionaires are the real mates, that the Libs are, laughably, their best friends, but will that sentiment now gain traction.
