If you can, be honest and candid. You're anonymous so what the hell, let 'er rip buddy. You're a passionate man to be sure.
I'll answer for him as you're right... his contribution to discussions is generally hinged on abusive remarks in lieu of a cohesive argument:

              1. I hate Albo (coz I'm conservative) and felt this would give it to him. Didn't think much about indigenous Australians.

              2. Building off the above, I'm conservative (a few of us on here belong to the Lib party) so don't like social progression.

              3. Once I realised that the no vote was polling well, I figured that if I voted no I'd be able to claim that 'I won and you lost'. Although, it wasn't actually a competition and 'no' means we don't get anything as a collective (so isn't a 'win').

I’ve accepted it Izzy ol mate. Its good to be on the right side of history. That’s why I’ve moved on. Jobs done so it’s over and out! Have you accepted it bud?

Save the limoncello for the salty YES voters who still can’t let it go. They need a few good sips to mellow.

LOLz mate you're behaving like a hyperactive Pemriff player who's just blocked a consolation try from the Tigpies while already up by 50 with 2 minutes to go, has jumped over all his mates and os now running laps of the field saying 'hahaha suck shyte Tigpies fans... ya lost... accept it and move on ya loooosers!!! Caaarn, go home already!!! You're not allowed to sit here enjoying a beer and discussing how you're optimistic next year will be a better one!!! I repeat, get in your car and go home!!! This is our house and only Pemriff fans are allowed to discuss this game while drinking a beer!!!'

In short... if this were the Commonwealth Club or the Tattersalls then my man would approach you, politely place his white glove on your table, quietly extinguish your Dannemann by using your glass of vintage cognac as an ashtray and then point to the door saying while making a nuanced throat clearing noise. There would be a mutual understanding between gentlemen that you had overstepped the line

'Right side of history'? I know old mate uses that line a lot in relation to Chinese/Russian geopolitics (with the assumption they have somehow 'won' and Australia's on the wrong side of history in partnering with the USA). All I can say to this remark is that IMO you are naive if you think that this is the end of the road for constitutional recognition for indigenous Australians and broader reforms in relation to reconciliation (which will no doubt involve an element of contested public discourse - welcome to democracy).

Now if you will sir... [makes a nuanced throat clearing noise while pointing towards the door]

Someone’s definitely been overdosing on the limoncello whilst this place has been out of action

True story - I typed up that rant before the 'pen went down and saved it in Notes because an error occurred when I tried to post it (site was down).

It was a great sense of empowerment when I was finally able to get it off my chest

                              • Aw Renty could you be that far gone? Coming together? We can't get on here. One side refuses to listen to the other. There were many reasons for No but one biggie was racism. The ordinary person is quietly disgusted with the Aboriginal community. They don't like to see their poverty and alienation, they see them as irresponsible and feckless. Most people don't think about the past upheaval that has resulted in their present circumstances.
