Those terms are not pointing at anyone in particular. They describe the actions of a group. Unlike the insults thrown directly at individuals from the other side.
If it was a personal label, it would be justified in response to the attacks from the YES camp.FVCK CANCER

Nobody is dummy spitting. I can't recall the term that Izzy used but essentially we are now debriefing, picking over the entrails if you will. We can't put such a significant result aside without discussion. We need to consider what makes us tick as a nation. Did Dutton, the Libs and News jettison principle and National integrity for miserable political point scoring? I say that they did. Not that there is anything new in that, the same sort of destructive impulses from the same cabal were at play in the Coup in '75.

Is it down to the yes voters still spitting the dummy?
Just as a general comment (not specifically at you Eddie), imagine if fans were not allowed to discuss a Roosters loss after a game we were expected to win, or lost badly etc. If the no vote had lost would no voters be keeping quiet or would they be blowing up about how the world has gone completely woke / mad / crazy and complaining that they can't upset the precious petals / snowflakes / lightweights? Food for thought. But I know what the response will be. NO!

Maybe I shouldn't comment because I didn't vote.........................no bugger it. When the dust finally settles, I agree with RT that this whole exercise was nothing more than a huge waste of tax payers money.
One observation is that on the whole, the yes crowd were more rude and obnoxious than the no lot.

But it was definitely a yes in the end and I wouldn't change my mind if I had the choice again. But I think it's only fair that the losers are allowed to assess and unpack want went wrong. No voters may not care to admit it but I am fairly certain they would be discussing and whining just as much as the Yes voters are now if the results were reversed. And yes it can be said because I am saying it, no ifs or buts about it.
My comments here are not about the whys and why nots of the referrndum but the mechanics of how one side played bullying tactics which backfired on them.Last edited by rented tracksuit; 11-10-2023, 04:23 PM.FVCK CANCER
