Fair enough Renty. I didn't think too many Yes voters here were spitting the dummy though. Well not in a truly obnoxious way anyway. But since the site was down for a while I may have forgotten.

Most people don't think about the past upheaval that has resulted in their present circumstances.
Gees that's a word you hardly hear nowadays - Feckless

Don't you be so crude and feckless

          • Welcome Kingo. I know how you feel, a lot. of us had our faiths shaken by the result and the reactions of fellow penners.

The word is good one and your context showed its meaning well. If, of course, you knew the meaning beforehand.

Your "story" appears to be that the substance of the referendum question was not as important as the tactics you allege the Yessers used. Where was the bullying exactly? Albo was scrupulously even handed as any pollie would have been. Sounds like you got caught up early in the "Elites" nonsense - where a rancid US billionaire has the effrontery to pose as a non - elite. And you swallow that?

Murdoch uses the same device to discredit Science world wide - fcukin' elites, what would they know? Fcukin' bullies. As Elle Macpherson famously said "I don't believe in reading anything I haven't written myself". She was awake to 'em too, so you're in good company.

I would be stoked to be in the company of Elle M.

You can keep Albo all to yourself.

                  • Dutton just scored himself an own goal by trying to use similar tactics in relation to the protests in Melbourne.

Dutton: 'How dare the PM not side with zionists and condemn the protests in Melbourne'

Rabbi: 'You're a farking divisive farkwit Dutton... quit trying to score cheap political points! The Jewish community has personally thanked Albo for treading the fine line of condemning violence while also appreciating that this is NOT a political football that ahould be used to divide Australians'.

Potato's voice of division = cooked

Yep, a apt demonstration of the Libs stock in trade - fear and loathing. And we've just seen it again in the impending High Court ordered release of 80 interned asylum seekers. What a divisive, nasty, greedy lot they are and how petrified is the ALP of Murdoch and his minions. This is the "crisis" cacophony that I have foreshadowed. We could have the Potato as our next Tory policy free leader. After all, Murdoch managed to sell Abbott to the sheeple against all odds.

well the people have spoken, time to move on. moving on, they should explore voices around the place. could work. and they should have another referendum at the next election about constitutional recognition of the first australians - we've had the debate, there's bipartisan support, why not suggest a non-controversial motherhood type statement that everyone can get behind

Oh Zac It’s great to see and no surprise to see just how well you have not accepted the will of the overwhelming majority on this.

Mr Tilmouth said Indigenous-run organisations, like Children's Ground, are accountable to the people they serve.

"It hurts, but we'll keep shaking the branches and trying to bring about change, and we'll do it by proving First Nations-led systems lead to real, positive outcomes for our children and our communities."

Whats he saying? He wants the Indigenous community to have a voice? Well no- Australia has voted and spoken.....you're out of sight and out of mind. Send your requests to Warren Whathisname and Jacinta Wishiwaswhite

A bit of an uneducated last para there RR. Though I'm guessing the slightly racist trope name calling of Jacinta is a regurgitated lefty twitterati special, rather than an original. For our indigenous communitys sake, we can't get her onto the front bench quick enough. Someone with both a heart and a brain to bring to the table for indigenous affairs would be a game changer.

I swear on my children its an original....it should be easy to spot because it isn't that good!!!

Sure, move her to the front bench if that's what the majority of indigenous want. Is that what they want? Is she the one they want to represent them? Will the remote communities, like the article i highlighted in my previous post, be represented? I guess you would have to ask them because i doubt they would be watching her softball interviews with Credlin on Sky News
