It’s a classic machine Mickey, just like KISS but they are imo overrated. . In their day, they were great but just not enough playfield action for my liking.

The ones I mentioned from the 90’s have stood the test of time and still play very well against the ones that have come out over the past few years.

Good to know. I haven't actively been searching, I just monitor a few retro gaming groups and ~$15k seems to be a pretty common price for pinnies that are in decent condition.

If you have a source that's selling them for significantly less then I'm all ears.

FWIW a dude down the road (who used to own a record shop) was doing a garage sale where he sold off all his old stuff. He had a stack of old Playboy magazines in a box that he showed me... I thumbed through a few and they were hilarious. Woulda grabbed a couple as souvenirs but figured it wouldn't be a good look if my wife/kids found them.

Scored a solid Marantz amp and some (bigarse) matching floor speakers (he used to use them for playing music in the shop). Also scored a 9" CRT (which I repaired & traded with a guy down in Tuggers for a C64). One of the best garage sales I've attended in recent years...

Close to us mate… Capital Pinball in Mitchell.

Let me know what you get.

I got mine from Luna Park in Sydney when they closed down in the mid 90’s.

you have probably already seen videos on them, but this one’s pretty cool, like you said, you’d need to try one out somewhere, to get a real perspective on them.

surely somewhere in Canberra might have one, maybe the reload bars in civic?

I was really surprised when I tried the one my mate built, but it was probably more the novelty of it, like anything, hard to go away from the tried and trusted.

side note… I never thought I would want an electric car, but took a Tesla for a test drive from civic a few weeks ago, and it was a damn fun experience, I recommend anyone to take one for a spin, go for a coffee and some lunch, and then see if you can hold it down after some roller coast action driving the Tesla to the airport and back

i just bought an amarok, because i need it for work, but will look at a few electric options further down the track for the wife.

What your mate did was awesome!

                        What you did was unforgivable!
