Better a salmon than a pillock.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I think its a long bow to suggest the core conservative base are a bunch of nutcase conspiracy theorists etc. ?

The safe haven of the hard left is to skirt around facts and debate on issues, and throw out the tired old lines stereotyping an ideology they find threatening.

Some of the happy clapping from the PCult fella for Dictator Dan deserved a strong response. And Sparra and the Rockstar delivered in an entertaining and engaging way.

Andrews policies led to deaths and wrecking peoples lives and livelihoods...its going to elicit some strong emotions and reactions.

The only thing that saved him last time was a combination of Stockholm syndrome and a pathetic opposition. Have a go at them all you like if you feel like bashing a conservative, the good people of Victoria desperately needed a strong alternative and they offered zip.

Well I can’t comment on the car story you refer to as in all honesty I don’t even know of the situation at all. The falling down the stairs I remember happened during Covid? Again I have no comment on that. I was really just referring to your last sentence about him rotting in hell. I only reserve that sort of talk for sadistic psychos like Ivan Milat and sicko paedophiles, which is why I said it was full on.

            .

It was only 26th November of 2022 that the good people of Victoria had a state election....and the Andrews government was returned with 56 seats compared to the Liberal 28 seats. This Stockholm theory-c'mon-thats straight from Sky News Aust. Truth is you can fool some of the people some of the time but not all of the people all of a time. Plus theres a reason why the Liberals could only offer "pathetic opposition" and thats because they are choosing from a pathetic pool of party members.

You've gone on about "wrecking peoples lives and livelihoods" before regarding Mark McGowan and WA- and its also straight from the Sky News Australia propaganda machine. Having all my immediate family in WA i know nothing could be further from the truth-they wanted those borders shut because they wanted life to go on per usual-and it did. The results of the State election in 2021 and then the Federal election said it all....and even then the Murdoch media claimed the people were scared into voting Labor.

Now that Andrews and McGowan have called it a day out come all the bs theories why.....from the same side who accepted that Barry O'Farrell really did step down as premier because of a undisclosed gifted bottle of wine.....the same side who when the ICAC report came out about Gladys said " see she did nothing wrong, read the report".

Its good for Australia to have a strong conservative party because its unhealthy to have 1 party dominate- but they need to find themselves and what they stand for in a modern times. I know in my household in the Federal election we had 2 women who had never voted anything besides Liberal, vote Teals- and my son voted Greens. Then when you look at the overall results then yeah, made sense.

Having said all that what i said in my previous post wasn't aimed at you- although im sure you dont care either way.

The car accident and the fall are indeed very true. The actual circumstances causing those incidents have been kept from the public.

The car accident was years ago, but in recent weeks it has risen to the surface.

His 'accident' on the steps (one step apparently) also got a fair bit of publicity.

I think you will find plenty of interesting news articles about both incidents.

Oh Yeah, Jax is our Sky linkman and ol' Carlos P? What can you say....? Whoah... what a doozy? Ground control to Major C. Might try to find a space for him in my fictional cavalcade noe that Rocky is on life support.

Appended is the opinion of Colin Heseltine, former Australian Ambassador and diplomat to Korea and China, on the Belt & Road Initiative. Whom might you believe, him or Jax/Sky??

@ Random Rooster....I won't requote your whole post but are you saying you support individual states imposing "border" lockdowns. Mate, we are one country, one landmass.

One country-one landmass that is divided into states and territories-each with its own set of laws. The Federal government shut down all of Australia on the outbreak of Covid-then left the decisions to the states as per the law.

Absolutely i supported the WA government's decision to lockdown the border. Its what the majority of West Aussies wanted-they wanted their businesses up and running. To say businesses were bankrupted and people lives ruined was just 100% wrong- it was the opposite. The WA government looked after those who relied on tourism because they had the funds to do so- the states economy was still moving and they were the only state who turned in profits during the covid years- and made a gain for the Federal government

The right wing media completely misread it and carried on like the people of WA were locked up against their will (of course the Liberal state of Tasmania was spared of criticism)-and they started playing the emotion card showing those who couldn't get back into WA for funerals and the like- its unfortunate but it was the absolute minority who were affected.

Then you got that buffoon Clive Palmer who wanted the borders open for his own good and made out he was the saviour of West Aussies vowing to set them free-he totally misread the wishes of the WA citizens. All he did was elevated McGowans popularity after taking him to court. The letter that Scomo wrote for Palmer as a reference to use in the trial really sealed Scomo's fte in WA. Again totally misread the mood in WA

I was in Perth for the Federal election and Palmer and the United Party had billboards everywhere-especially on major roads. Well he found out that 99.999% of West Australia hate his guts for tryog to open the borders.

Now the worst of Covid is over and we move on. My sister in law worked in covid ward of Liverpool hospital as a ER doctor for 15 months and ended up having 6 months off- but she back at work at RPA. Its over and we move on
