  • Gladys Berejiklian "resigns"

After a string of corrupt dealings that resulted in her secret boyfriend being able to pocket government cash. Love how the Libs are such good financial managers...

If I am indeed "old mate" this simply did not happen.

        Why lie said the fly?

I have many old mates but in this case it was 'the Axe' (and a few friends). I've since made up with him and decided not to spend too much time arguing about state politics. However, I thought it'd be fun to remind people of a few resignations as a few people seem rather interested in a Victorian Premier who recently resigned

Thanks for clarifying. I hope you realise it was a case of mistaken identity with The Axe, but it provided much amusement to the likes of... me.

I should add I'm not averse to putting the slipper in to Coalition pollies if I think they deserve it, despite a conservative bent. Examples are Our Glads lockdowns and restrictions on people during Covid, and Scomo's net zero capitulation. Always playing the ball not the man though.

Whats your problem? Just showing I can be critical of either side of politics to allay Isms stereotype.

Thats the opposite of virtue signalling.

Gladys was advised by NSW health.....and they had to make snap decisions on something that no one was prepared for. Gladys did her best,as did all the other premiers- but they are politicians not virologists.

Reminds me of a old Groucho Marx quote "Politics is the art of looking for trouble, finding it everywhere, diagnosing it incorrectly and applying the wrong remedies"

Brilliantly described by Groucho....geez his quotes are legendary. The original one liners. I'm off to read some more.

I actually blame the bureaucrats in NSW more to be honest, Glad placed her implicit trust in Kerry Chant. The high level bureaucrats suddenly had immense power that they never had previously in their working lives. It was kind of a loaded gun.
