  • Been on X a bit lately, batting the folk advocating for a caliphate in Europe, then the world, who point out to this infidel that Islam is the fastest-growing religion worldwide, tipped to have 3 billion or so followers by 2050, and they will succeed in their Islamizing the world quest.

By 2030, Muslims are projected to represent about 26.4% of the global population (out of a total of 7.9 billion people). - Significantly higher birth rates than in the West and Asia

What does that mean? - judging by the videos of these rallies against Israel/Pro Palestine on X these Muslim folk have as much against Israel as they do against the West.

It's a powder keg to keep a close eye on

A critical statement made by UAE Foreign Minister back in 2017 is going viral on social media amid France riots. Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed can be seen providing an eye-opening take on the French protests. In the clip, Sheikh Abdullah bin Zayed spoke against the influx of migrants into the European nations. Watch this video for more information.

    • These photographs could represent anything King. Surely you're over photographic "evidence" by now. There were aerial photos of WMD sites that you swallowed a few years back as well as the more recent "germ warfare" fiction that was peddled before being exposed.
What we see in Syria is a legacy of the US "Arab Spring" fantasy - yet another exercise in regime change, and isolating Russia, gone badly wrong.

I'm sure the National Endowment for Democracy would be chuffed if told they played a major role in the Arab Spring uprising, but it would be far from the truth. I remember it started with a Tunisian street vendor setting himself on fire in protest of police corruption and mistreatment....which sparked enormous protests and rioting in Tunisia, leading to the ousting of the corrupt president. The success in Tunisia inspired the same uprisings in countries like Egypt, Yemen, Bahrain and Libya who also had government corruption and economic hardships. If you want to blame the US, it was Twitter, Facebook, and other social media platforms that helped inspire and coordinate these protests in search of greater political freedoms in these nations. It turned out to be a success for Egypt, who ousted autocratic leader Hosni Mubarak after 30 years of rule.

Whats it got to do with Russia in Syria? Just like the US they will support a government that best serves their strategic and economic interests- nothing new about that from either country.

Unsurprising that you see the so called Arab Spring" as a spontaneous eruption and not yet another example of US meddling. Well you would because to see things otherwise is to invite cognitive dissonance.
Though you are correct in saying that social media platforms played a role in that they offended Islamic sensibilities in a way that local "dictators" had not anticipated. However, not to see the US hand in that (social media) is naive or mendacious tbh. After all the CIA financed a "dissident" TV station in the Ukraine prior to the coup, aimed at youth.

Why you so unkind Paddo? I got feelings too! I think your Americanophobia would find a reason to blame the Granville train disaster and the Port Arthur massacre on the Yanks too!

Whats taking the Ruskys so long to rid Ukraine of those evil Nazis? They must be hiding behind weapons of mass destruction in tunnels under Kiev.....they are proving more slippery than Steve Morris.

Great article in Mendadue on the RBA- very spot on i thought.

            • Instead of a red under every bed, Comrade Paddo thinks it's an American capitalist or CIA agent.

How about the so-called spring uprising occurring because ordinary citizens had had enough of the dictatorships they were forced to live under and wanted them gone?

Could one ever imagine the Soviets agreeing to a cease-fire before entering Berlin? No chance. Israel obviously thinks the same, as they are fighting people with the same ideology as Nazi Germany, wanting to exterminate all Jewish people worldwide.

It is interesting to note that the Arabs are now backing a two-state solution, which they rejected in 1947. If they had agreed to this back then, all these conflicts and wars may never have happened. Instead, they waged war on Israel in 1948 and have been in conflict ever since.

As for Palestinians, they do have a chequered past, which is why many Arab countries refuse to take them as refugees, and of course they would bring Hamas with them, which those countries do not want in their own backyards.

As an example, Kuwait deported over 300,000 Palestinians because they supported Saddam Hussein's invasion of Kuwait, and Jordan had a long, protracted war against the PLO, who were trying to overthrow the King of Jordan.

Hamas are backed by Iran, as are Hezbollah in Lebanon and the Houthi rebels in Yemen. Iran also backs al - Assad in Syria as does Russia.

Iran, although not an Arab country, wants to play a more important role in Muslim world affairs.

It would not surprise me at all if Iran challenges Saudi Arabia's position as head of the Muslim world, as they have the backing of other non-Arab Muslim countries such as Indonesia, Malaysia, Bangladesh, Pakistan, and the other stan countries: Afghanistan, Kazakhstan, Kyrgyzstan, Tajikistan, Turkmenistan, and Uzbekistan

                  • [QUOTE=King Salvo;n1034465]Instead of a red under every bed, Comrade Paddo thinks it's an American capitalist or CIA agent. Etc etc etc.

This must be your most rambling post yet and that's sayin' something.

Re Berlin. The remnants of the wehrmacht was still an amy fighting fanatically to the finish after killing millions in Russia and wrecking the joint to boot. Curiously, the last to surrender in Berlin was a French SS Division (or what was left of it).

Israel is the one rejecting the 2 state solution. It's the last thing it wants, the aim is a total Israeli state minus A-rabs.

So you're saying Palestinians don't deserve to live?

                    Comment

                    • The Arabs rejected the two-state solution and SIP covering the cities of Jerusalem and Bethlehem in 1947 and then attacked Israel. The Arab League Armies consisted of Egypt, Jordan, Syria, Lebanon, Yemen, Saudi Arabia, and all of Palestine.

The Arabs have rejected any two-state solution until now, in 2023, and now want this to be the cornerstone of the Israel-Palestine peace accords. If they had agreed to this in 1947, then the wars and conflicts may have never occurred.

Hamas have maintained their staunch opposition to a two-state solution and have vowed repeatedly to destroy Israel and exterminate every Jewish person in the world, as per the video in a previous post.

With Hamas, you are dealing with a Islamic terrorist group that has major backing from Iran, which is one of Israel's arch enemies.

An example below a Women who even help plan the attacks gladly sent her 3 sons off to kill Israeli's -all killed off course but hey they became Martyrs and are assigned 72 virgins etc -

It has to be said that Israel gave prior warning about areas targeted for bombing but Hamas wouldn't allow people to leave.

Hamas have an extensive tunnel/bunker system although the average Palestinian was not allowed to use this facility - why ask Hamas officials - whoops forgot they are in Qatar / Turkey and Iran with their families and the billions they ripped off - all those donations from individuals/ corporations/countries etc never go to where it was supposed to go - Similar to when PLO was in power - Old Yasser Arafat racked up 14 billion in assets

                      https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/art...-mansions.html

Palestinians have a choice stick with Hamas and suffer the consequences or boot them out and have a future.

Not against Palestinians having a future at all but the brainwashing to hate and for conflict has to cease and if these folk come here on temp visa's and what not they leave all that behind.

Worrying signs around the world with your Marxists joining the pro Hamas/Palestinian Anti Israel lobby in all these protests and even the School Kids one today in Melbourne and the One in Sydney Tomorrow - Socialist Alliance/ Socialist Workers Party etc

The German army where mostly Kids and Old men at the end in Berlin - German Volkssturm - made up of boys as young as 12 and Older men 60 plus - had a lot of Panzerfaust's though - one shot portable anti tank weapon

So Israel should just sit back and do nothing after a group of terrorists come into their territory and kill 1400 and take 250 people hostage?

And one of their leaders comes out and says there will be many more October 7s.

I bet you’d be saying differently if it happened in your country.

It's almost as if the times of general uncertainty have presented as an opportunity for those who were waiting to attempt land grabs to march in and do it.
Israel doesn’t want to take over. Why would they want to have the responsibility of taking care of 2 million Palestinians? Their goal and what they will achieve is to destroy the terrorist organisation Hamas. Israel’s beef is with Hamas not Palestinians. Before this war tens of thousands of Palestinians crossed the Israeli border each day to work in Israel. Because of the actions of Hamas these people will never have the opportunity to work in Israel again and will live a life of poverty.

Pretty simple . If Hama had not attacked Israel a month ago a lot of people on both sides would still be alive.
