How many of the 13,000 children killed in Gaza do you think were Islamic extremists? How many of their surviving family will now become extremists? You can ship every Palestinian out of Gaza but terrorism has no borders. Those children will one day become men and women with fked up minds caused by the trauma they experienced- and revenge is what they will deliver.

Now we have Egypts rebuilding of Gaza proposal getting the approval of the Arabs countries of the middle east. Yet Netanyahu said he is sticking with Napoleon Bone -Aspurs vision of ethnically cleansing the Strip and creating a " Middle East Riviera".

This is acceptable for Netanyahu and co because they are old and may have a decade of so left on this planet-so long term peace is not a concern for them. Heading to the grave thinking they are powerful and have left behind a great legacy for their country is all they crave

it's good news - it wasn't done by people motivated by anti-semitism but by people wanting to make a buck - but it does show that some crims don't gaf about the consequences of their actions. no taking away from the fear and disquiet it caused

You talking about the caravan full of explosives at Dural ? The one that investigators, from the earliest, expressed concerns that the plot might be a set-up because the caravan had been parked jutting out onto a road obstructing traffic, and there was no detonator or wiring in the bomb. It didn't stop Peter Dutton labelling it “potentially the biggest terrorist attack in our country’s history” and sending Sky news into a Islamophobic meltdown. Albanese, Chris Minns even the NSW Police Commissioner also called this a terrorist plot and how serious it was. Mike Burgess (head of ASIO) still maintains anti-semitism and the threat of terrorism is their biggest focus and concern. But no, it's all Pistol Petes fault. They're getting desperate...expect more of this in the lead up to the election.

the comment out of the jewish community is that they fear this development will diminish the reality of anti-semitism, that all anti-semitic attacks might be seen as bogus. that's to say that they understand that these particular attacks weren't motivated by anti-semitism.

as for the comments about pop gun pete - his mistake wasn't highlighting the possible seriousness of what was going on. his mistake was trying to get political mileage out of the incident. albanese, minns and webb all criticised anti-semitism but dutton didn't want a unity ticket. he wanted to attack the government's response. same as he's doing now with trump's tariffs. dutton's approach was to put less blame on anti-semites and more on his political opponent; and now, less blame on trump's quirky economic approach and more on albo.
