anyone working for a company under Abbott will be living in fear of their Jobs and conditions every day of their life but it will be nice to see the mega mining companies posting excessive profits as they shovel more of Australia off the rest of the world, we can all rejoice in the increases to executive bonuses too, perhaps woollies and Cole's can be given status as mps with a vote in parliament, or maybe Alan Jones may be given a liberal senate seat as a reward for a job well done for the right, oh and don't you worry about they amount of extra co2 spewing into our atmosphere, lord monkton will be proud of you! yes life under Abbott promises to be very different, we can put up the price if uni courses and charge attendees even bigger loans to pay off fees, we can reduce the fees for the kings school and shore but cut back on any public education courses including closing a few unprofitable tafe colleges?

So what is the answer mate, the pink bats scheme, the solar scheme, the money burnt on school halls or maybe the dash for cash Gilllard is giving school aged kids prior to the end of the financial yr to buy votes to add to the massive deficit this yr so it doesn’t show on next yrs books LOL

The thing people don’t get with labour is they target the aged the single mothers the battlers by telling them they will give them $50 or $500 a yr, money that the country does not have AND then smashes them in other areas so it can pay these hand outs off LOL.

Labour gives with one hand and takes with the other... they buy votes and bring the country to its knees every time.

My friend the concessions need to be made to the business community so it can grow and prosper and employ people like you and me. If someone has the guts, the brains and the work ethic to run a business and risk their money then they deserve every penny they earn and lots of it.

Everyone has the opportunity to succeed some take it whilst others piss it away and complain the world owes them, you reap what u sow its that simple. People need to make decisions that they cant afford and make life choices AND sacrifices that will lead them to success. If they don’t want to do the hard yards then imo FCK them. The reality is life is not a movie!

Very insightful mate, I hope you have a life jacket and are a good swimmer because the ship is sinking under labour as per usual.

Straight out of the Business Councils play book of bullshit.

Business is not the economy, the people are the economy. If the people do not have enough money to spend after they pay their mortgage, school fees, food, etc than all your business go to the wall. It's that simple mate. How many businesses go under each year, hundreds, how many start up, hundreds. Businesses will come and go as they have always done, but it is the people and their ability to spend that creates out economy. This current focus by both sides of politics on business is complete and utter bullshit.

If the people have the money to spend than they will patronise business, if they don't business is the first to suffer as people stop spending.

You might spew forth the same bullshit as Jones and Hadley, but the BER was a success with less than 1.6% identifed as waste. The stimulus package kept our economy out of recession as it gave...shock horror...money for people to spend and they spent it and guess what...we're not in a recession.

I hope you enjoy paying for Tony's Carbon abatement scheme that will cost YOU and me over $1400 rather than a carbon tax that taxes those that do the polluting.

If you work for someone else and you vote Coalition you're farking idiot.

            Chook.

The only waste of the B.E.R. was in NSW public schools, under the auspices of Michael Coutts-Trotter, the then education Tsar. Who coincidentally (or not) is the husband of Tanya Plibersek.

All the private schools were way under budget.

On the whole global warming/climate change thing, I could just about guarantee that Tony Abbott will give that lip service, at best. Some token gesture that will cost next to nothing. Like planting trees or something like that.

                And on a side note.

                http://www.news.com.au/business/brea...-1226364494395

GINA Rinehart has missed out on a Fairfax board seat in a reshuffle to replace retiring director Robert Savage.

Mr Savage, who was chief executive of IBM Australia in the late 1990s and currently is chairman of David Jones, will retire on June 30 to spend more time with his family, Fairfax said in a statement today.

He has served on the Fairfax board for five years.

He will be replaced on July 1 by James Millar, a former chief executive of Ernst & Young.

This comes after speculation Ms Rinehart, who is Fairfax's biggest shareholder, was pushing for a board seat.

Prior to working at Ernst & Young, Mr Millar was a corporate reconstruction professional, Fairfax said.

"We are delighted that James has agreed to join the Fairfax board and strongly believe that his business and professional expertise, broad commercial experience and the depth of his community involvement will be an invaluable addition to the board," Fairfax chairman Roger Corbett said in the statement.

Mr Millar is also on the boards of Mirvac and Jetset Travelworld, and chairman of furniture maker Fantastic Holdings.

                AND THANK FUGG FOR THAT!
                Nasty, nasty woman.

The ship struck the iceberg at the time CGT discounts and First Home Owners Grants were introduced.

I find it frightening that you see things this way, I really do. Straight out of the communist hand book, sounds good in principle but doesnt work in reality!

Its 2012 mate Business IS the economy and it needs to move forward in order for us to compete and have a good standard of living in this global economy, I am not saying its right I am saying that is the fact.

If business does not thrive that is when you go to the wall! The stimulus did jack shit, we will be paying it off for the next 50 years the damage it has done in untold.

As for the carbon tax the majority of the population did NOT want it but the god like arrogance of Gillard did not listen to the ppl she imposed her will like it or not, the ppl will have their say mate! I find it absurd that ur making comment on Abbotts abetment, its NOT what the public wanted, it is not what the business community wanted, ITS IS WHAT GILLARD WANTED. WHY could she not wait and let us vote, why did she have to lock it in so tight and so close to the next election????? If you are dirty mate be dirty with her!!!

The conduct of this government is discussing!

Let me ask you one question , WHY is the Gillard government telling us that it will have a surplus next yr yet it wants to give away $800 for every school aged child BEFORE the end of this financial yr??? AND take into consideration we owe 300 billion in the top 5 countries of external debt.
Do you think that is a wise move?
Do you think we can afford that?

One thing I must say is “ A man can only walk as far as he can see”

What about Rudd the fckn clown sending us $1000 to spend lol I sent it back and told them to fck off. That thousand will cost me 5k to pay back as a country. People see the hand out BUT ppl it needs to be paid back!!!!

Mate, I take offense at that remark.
If you are well stationed in life, good luck to you, unfortunately a lot of people are not as fortunate. MOST of those through no fault of their own.
I have seen decent people work their guts out all through their lives & still end up destitute.
Are you advocating that these people are not worthy of support/help?

                                A very cold statement imo.
