The Governments fiscal policy, energy policy, climate policy, agricultural policy, determination to get FWA to put wages up by 5% and the backing of the extension of the war in Ukraine after a peace deal had been brokered between both sides in April 2022 a few months after it had started all have had a significant impact on inflation which has led too the RBA having to lift rates anybody who says otherwise has rocks in their head.

I guess my body is hurting from the extra weight of my skull then. You can add big corporations profits as another contributing factor. I’m sick of seeing my grocery bill going up and up despite the factor the rate of inflation is slowing down yet Colesworth continues to rake in massive profit. • I never said the government is responsible for what the RBA does. Funny how when there was 1 rate rise under the last coalition government, Labor and their sycophants in the media started baying for blood. It's all gone rather quiet now that the ALP have presided over numerous rate rises since they came into power - the highest official rates since 2011.
• Prove to me that immigration is bi-partisan! Yep, it annoys me no end. In fact I was just writing out our big fortnightly shopping list today and looking at both their online catalogues for specials etc and still prices for basic products keep climbing. The little Woollies / Coles duopoly continues to rip people off .

Its disgusting. The Liquor side of the company has a different agreement to the Supermarket side but they are trying to get everyone under the same agreement. Melbourne Cup day is always a union picnic day so a paid day off for full time and part time workers , the Supermarket side lost theirs last year but the Liquor side kept the picnic day, i'm hoping we don't go under the same umbrella but its looking likely we will. While not a great Christmas bonus but we get either a six pack of beer or certain RTD's and a bottle of wine, a whole lot better than a branded water bottle
