    - Most of the time you know the result at least a day before it happens.

    /QUOTE]

Not at all. The beauty of test cricket is that anything can happen on any given day. The wicket and weather conditions can change. The pitch can change from day to day. Players become fatigued and so on.

Unlike that poor excuse of a game that T20 is where you may as well just have a bowling machine firing balls out of a machine and see how far you can hit it, what makes test cricket so good is it is a game of attrition. Look at this 5th test. Not a big run chase admittedly on the last day, but as Jasprit Bumrah described the wicket as the 'spiciest' anything could have happened. Unfortunately for he and India he was unable to bowl as injury played a part. That's not to say India would have won had he been able to bowl, but it adds to the intrigue and that's what made it a watchable test.

And that's the beauty of sport especially played outdoor where the elements come into play.

"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

The motherland coming at the end of this year should have similar crowds.

We should be good for the next century at least.

              • Mitch Marsh really is hopelessly out of form, gone first ball for the Scorchers in last night’s Big Bash.

I love the India series, have done since it really became competitive under the Ganguly era, the poms barely compete when in Australia.

the rivalry is feels more aggressive with India. I though this series was great.

hope the poms can put up a decent show at the end of the year.
