It’s been a really good day’s play. They should have had Marsh out for 20 odd but dropped a sitter. It’s been a great partnership between Marsh and Smith to get the Aussies back on track.

Between Mrs Walker and I we managed to put the mock on poor Mitch Marsh On 96 and I say he will get an edge through slips for four to bring up his 100 As the bowler is running in to bowl Mrs Walker chimes in there doesn’t look to be enough of a gap between 2nd slip and the next fielder The ball is bowled Marsh edges and he is caught by the 2nd slip with a diving catch unable to get the ball through that gap

Good days cricket it’s been with Australia looking to have grabbed the ascendancy for now but a few quick wickets can change that Off to the beach now for a surf in the sloppy surf No complaints with that I need to get surf fit again lasted 40 mins on yesterday and was knackered when I got out Will try for an hour today

Australia run out relatively easy winners claiming the last 5 Pakistan wickets for 18 runs in 42 balls after Pakistan looked some chance of an unlikely win

We’ve been on the road most of the day but I was lucky to arrive at the motel in time to catch the last 5 wickets fall. Pakistan looked like a genuine chance for a while there.

Hazelwood's ball that demolished Barbar's stumps was brilliant.

I think Pat Cummins has proven his captaincy credentials this year and proven a lot of the critics wrong. Many doubted whether a fast bowler was the correct choice for captain and all the woke labels he has copped (yes it’s been brought up here on the Chookpen too lol), but I love his laidback calm nature with the captaincy and it certainly doesn’t affected his aggression as a bowler.

Be careful!! This is " Captain Woke" you are talking about!! A loss of form or questionable captaincy tactics and you'll have the resident Ku Klux Klan members come down on you and him like a tonne of rocks!!!

Yes he has been fantastic!! Great role model too

Love him or not, it’s been a great career for David Warner and a great way to end it too.

I prefer to call him Captain Calm or Captain Courageous.

The good thing now is that i can drive and park the car at the members for a swim at the stadium after work tomorrow.

Another great test match though even if i didn't get to watch much of it today because of work, great to see Marnus Labuschagne looking comfortable getting runs today and also Hazelwood's devastating bowling stint late yesterday.

Yes great to see Marcus get some runs this test match. Hazelwood has bowled really well with little reward so it was good too see him finally get some wickets.
