It looks like the worst time to bat is the first 20 overs with the new ball.

Looks like a very good decision in the end.

Yep. Shame Smith dropped that catch though as they’d be two down.

Excellent day of cricket So far it’s been a belter of a test. Could we see a repeat of 1960

                      The team needs less Green.
It used to be that an all-rounder only made the side if he could do so on one of his skills.
Cameron Green doesn't deserve a place on either his batting or his bowling.

I actually like Green and think he’ll be a star but you’re right in that he’s not set the world on fire yet. The jury’s still out on Smith as an opener too.

We may lose this test the way it’s going.

I wasn’t a fan of last night’s declaration. I don’t think a declaration on Day 2 when you are behind in the first innings is a good move In some ways it reeks of arrogance

A brave declaration based on the fact the wickets have been falling in clumps wth the new ball. The ball was also swinging last night with the humidity and it’s harder to pick up the ball under lights. But the Wndies have played well.

I will respectfully disagree I thought it was a crazy declaration on a par with the English declaration in the Ashes

PS We may still win the game but even then I won’t agree with that decision Let’s just hope we don’t fall anywhere within 23 runs of whatever total we have to chase
