Aussies up 2-1 in the series so need to nail the 5th test and not give India a chance.

Konstas needs to be measured in his batting as teams quickly work out a players game especially the way he played in the first innings. He has the opportunity to nail down one of the opening spots long term if smart enough to take that chance.

He probably shouldn’t but I doubt selectors will drop him. Sean Abbott is currently in the squad but I can’t see the selectors bringing him in for Marsh. I’m wondering if Starc will back up again as he seemed to be troubled by a back problem. Also, I’m not sure if Hazlewood is due back from his latest injury.

Never change a winning side they say - Who would replace him though? - Can't think of anyone especially now that BBL is being played and not red ball cricket for any player to push their claim for selection.

Apart from actually winning the match The highlight for me was the look on the Indian players faces walking off the field at the end of day 4 An hour earlier with Aus 9 down they thought they could/would win the match to walking off at stumps knowing Lyon and Boland had batted them out of the game and that they could not win

The carry on after the game has been hilarious.

Jaiswal knew he hit the ball. And Akash claiming he didn't get an inside edge is even more funny. There was no cherry on the edge the frame before but one suddenly appears as it went past the edge LOL

Time to move on from Mitch Marsh. Jack Edwards must be close to a call up. Been NSW's best in the Shield this season.

Not convinced on Webster. His bowling is as pedestrian as Marsh and he is much the same with the bat.

I’m really surprised the selectors actually dropped him. His form has been very ordinary but the selectors usually give the out of form old boys way too many chances before they finally drop them. Not sure about Webster at test level but we’ll see how he goes. I was thinking he’s more a T20 player but he’s one of the leading run scorers in Shield cricket apparently.
