Had to laugh yesterday when reading an article (of complaint) in the D Tele by a female journalist about the increase on our roads and in our carparks of big American trucks/ utes.
RAM, GM, FORD F150 and TOYOTA Tundra to come.
She said that tradies are saying "it's not us" , that they're driving Hi Lux and Ranger type utes.

She said tradies are telling her that the owners of such Big American trucks are:
. "Construction Co managers
. Retired grey nomads towing $200,000 caravans.
and for 'Paddo' here...
.Cashed-up bogans! "

Said big American trucks have equally big price tags.
The "cashed-up bogans" must have good jobs doing something.

Just think it's a fair cop as he's called me a racist, sexist, homophobe, warmongerer, terrorist, white supremacist, misogynist, drunk, low class human from the country etc. etc. And thats all from a quick recall. 'He who has no place here' has forfeited any right to respect...IMHO.

I’ve always supported you Jack. We don’t always agree on every political matter (and sometimes we do), but I’ve always supported your right to your opinion and don’t like bullying and especially don’t like people deliberately excluding others and making them feel unwelcome. I’ve been a victim of the later myself on here for a period which lasted way too long and which some chose to turn a blind eye to. Again equally, I don’t agree with everything Paddo says and have made that very clear to him on those occasions. I don’t support left or right, I prefer to be flexible. Checks and balances is what keeps this country great. Just because things have always been done a certain way doesn’t mean it should remain the case for eternity, while sometimes changing for changes sake is wrong. I hate politics. I hate the way it interferes with sensible thinking and decision making.

Just make sure you’re only done with this thread, not the whole place. But I myself am wondering what a Chookpen free season would be like. But then when a big controversy occurs, like something to do with the vermin I probably won’t be able to help myself coming back to comment!

Unfortunately he went one day too long in this thread. I was more than happy for the exchange to cease after Australia Day had finished, but there he was was 7.37am yesterday morning continuing on with it. Which in turn saw another make comment that he didn’t like.

Now the poor fella appears to have thrown his toys out of the cot and left the place You know he kind of reminds of another poster who did this type of thing on more than one occasion when things didn’t turn out the way they wanted. I harbour no ill will and sincerely hope they are both ok and that one day they once again join the bossom of the chookpen family.

As for you MR the place would be poorer in your absence In saying this I’ve taken time away from this place on more than a few occasions But I find it to be like The Hotel California in that you can check out but you can never leave Now obviously it’s time for a song song
