For those who love hearing about how much of a rabble Souffs is, I reckon Mansour has summed it up pretty neatly on James Graham's poddie (see https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=9_KMIlbevmw).
In summary...
- He told Mansour he was keen to use him in round 1, then dropped him.
- Dropped him multiple times, sometimes being forced to use him after other players got injured (though Mansour had already tuned out due to having arguments with him over bullshyte like 'you're being dropped because you missed tackles', when he hadn't actually missed any when shown the video replays).
- Later on in the season (after the 2 not speaking for like 1-2 months), JD approached Mansour and was like 'I'm really impressed by your progress mate, we're gonna use you this week!!!' He then gave a youngster a debut instead.
- The first Mansour knew about being sacked was that the team was pulled together for a farewell video and his highlights popped up first.
Obviously this is only one side of the story but the way Souffs played against us, I reckon there's gotta be some truth in it all.
