Hard working , undervalued and underpaid NSW Public Sector workers have been offered a miserly 10.5% pay rise over 3 years by the NSW Labor Government
4 per cent pay rise in the first year, 3.5 per cent in the second and 3 per cent in the third, including the legislated superannuation increase plus a $1,000 cost of living payment if inflation exceeds 4.5 per cent that year.
2 more legislated superannuation guarantee rises to come - 1.7.2024 - .50% ( 11.50%) and 1.7.2025 - .50% ( 12.00%)
Currently inflation at the end of the March Quarter was 3.6%
The government says the new 10.5 per cent offer is a starting point and it hopes to negotiate "productivity reforms" with unions "in exchange for further pay increases".
The Pollies and Mandarins have had their pay rises frozen since last year
The pay offer doesn't apply to MPs, public officials, or senior executives, who have all had their pay frozen
