  • we need to talk about donald ...

okay, so trump is a convicted felon. this case was less significant than the allegations about insurrection and it's not clear what effect it will have on the election.

what's your opinion on donald trump?

what relevance does he have to oz?

i'm not a trump fan but i'm genuinely trying to understand the attraction

Though I’ll add it’s not because of his politics. I see him as an arrogant male chauvinist pig. I think a lot of women feel the same, certainly those I know and a women’s forum I occasionally hang out in.

The WEF don't want him in the whitehouse as they can't control him. Soros said as much. If he is incarcerated he'll be Epsteined.

Plenty of legal minds have called the trial proceedings corrupt. Note, the judge is a donor of the democrats, and the jury were vetted before the trial. They were asked who they voted for in 2020.

The same people cheering at the verdict have denounced Putin for doing the same thing.

I think he's refreshing for politics tbh. We desperately need real people with conviction and courage as leaders, and there is such a vacuum for this across the globe. Its all about party politics and get re-elected at any cost. Cue our own hapless embarrassment of a Govt.

Then theres the injustice factor...the charges and persecution of the former President has been unprecedented and pretty wicked truthfully. When you consider how the machine, media, judiciary etc. run cover for the Dems and the Bidens...and I'm still thinking the last election was a fiddle, its pretty tragic.

America needs a giant boot up the ass and get back to being a proud and respected leader of the free world. **** we need something...its gotta be the Don.

IMO the conviction means very little. It's doubtful he'll do prison time for it and he's not about to go broke. He's gonna run for president and it wouldn't surprise me if he won. The court outcome doesn't change what people already thought of him and won't shape his policy agenda. Also like honestly... I'm amazed they were able to prove that

Similarly it means very little for Australia. The US has all these funny words like 'felon' that people will toss around but does anybody actually care that he paid hush money to some prostitute who was trying to bribe him (and published her story anyway)? I would suggest probably not. It's a domestic drama.

Does the bigger picture of such a polarising candidate being electable say anything? I think that yes... it highlights a current trend with democracies whereby debates are about hyperbole and extremism rather than the finer details.

Dunno what to say from there really. I think it's just a phase we're going through and we'll all eventually grow out of it. The sooner the better.

                Oh dear...

We all seen what a trainwreck the Debate was, and obviously expected as such.

                Couple of questions.

Do you think the Dems and their strong media cheersquad set up the old dodderer so they could turf him for say, the female Obama?

Are you worried about the next few months on a global scale with the likes of Iran, China and Russia viewing a closing gap to exploit a weaker America, and hence the free western world?

The thought they could hide his dementia. It's sad.

It is...I don't like seeing dementia being made a figure of fun. It's a shocker and has/or will touch most of our lives on a personal level. Those propping him up and not helping him earlier are negligent at best.

It’s amazing that the former US president George W Bush, who last served 15 years ago, is still younger than both Biden and Trump. What a country!

Honestly my dad is in similar condition to Biden. The idea of giving him a full time job with huge pressure and responsibility would be unthinkable and beyond cruel.

They have Biden on some of the best performance enhancing drugs known to man as well. The Democrats could have had RFK Jnr but instead they let him leave the party and chose a near corpse as their candidate.

Sorry to hear that. My Mums got the dreaded D too (she's 94 mind you), and her mental acuity is only slightly worse than Biden.
