I think it’s more that firstly, Americans are so desensitised to violence and guns these days and secondly, it’s all about getting a photo for the socials, that America is completely #$&#ed. Maybe I’m just showing my age but the US has gone completely mad. It’s not about politics or left v right. It’s about humanity losing the plot. I had a builder do work in our house 2 years ago. He’s American but has lived here for 15 years. He had to return home for family reasons and when he got back he told me how the place had changed and how the American people were so cold, angry and detached, not like the place or people he used to know. I think it's legit as the shooter and somebody else died from it. Politics aside, the loss of two lives is tragic.
