  • Jizzy's annual Japan visit thread

Because sharing is caring... I decided to have a quick chat about what I'm doing as the 'fool' / 'narcissist' I am.

As a quick summary of current events, I've recently filed a breach notice against my ex for not complying with the court's visitation order and am planning to stand my ground this year. In previous years I've tried to build rapport by playing ball with my ex's tactic of getting her new husband to 'supervise' and antagonise me throughout while demanding that my mother not be present.

Without going into the nitty gritty details, I've resisted filing breach notices as the financial penalties for my ex are severe and I know they're not doing great financially. However I've successfully filed one for last year and will be retrospectively filing notices for every other year (plus filing one for this year) if they don't comply this time around. I don't wanna bankrupt my ex but she constantly thumbs her nose at the order and gets her new husband to constantly antagonise me (in breach of the order he's not even allowed to be present). Their families have agreed to this approach (in consultation with an 'abduction expert') and I think that really... the time has come for them to realise that such actions have consequences.

Let's see how it goes. As usual I look forward to my visit and the opportunity of seeing my daughter. This year's gonna be the hardest yet and I can guarantee that my ex's husband will be peppering the police with false claims against me to try and get me locked up for assaulting him.

Fortunately I'm a lover and not a fighter, so there's zero risk of me falling for such childish traps. I've just gotta be cool, calm and factual with a touch of assertiveness to make it clear to him that he's in breach of the order... I'm just there to see my daughter.

Izzy, see if you can get to this noodle bar while you're over there in Osaka.

The owner is an incredibly gifted guitar player and often does impromptu performances.

There's nothing constructive with custody issues and the best advice is to bite your tongue and go against your heart and be the congenial guy . The kids will work it out for themselves down the track . Mine has and we're best mates . We Love weight training and good food for starters. Just keep your cool and even when your backs to the wall , for the things you believe in . YOU NEVER GIVE IN !

I just hope you get the help you need. Pretty strange to post your private business.

Very strange indeed. But I’ve become used to this one’s attention seeking

Cheers - if I find myself in Osaka, I'll definitely duck in

Correct this thread is about the part of your life which is sadly a train wreck

Mind you I’m looking forward to the tales of the Japanese fisherfolk and hearing you relay their thoughts on worldly matters such as Trump the war in Ukraine and even the recent French election

A bit like another poster who has disappeared ( although had a sneaky look in back in a couple of weeks ago )

You know only the other day I was beginning to wonder if that poster was dead It is wonderful to hear that not only are they are they still with us, but they are still curtain twitching and lurking in the shadows here.

I’m sure they would receive a warm welcome back should we all be so lucky for this poster to once again join us in all of the fun and shenanigans.

Considering narcissist have a distinct lack of empathy I think you and your mate have that personality trait well and truly sown up.

You’d know all about that sort of thing.
