Because sharing is caring... I decided to have a quick chat about what I'm doing as the 'fool' / 'narcissist' I am.
As a quick summary of current events, I've recently filed a breach notice against my ex for not complying with the court's visitation order and am planning to stand my ground this year. In previous years I've tried to build rapport by playing ball with my ex's tactic of getting her new husband to 'supervise' and antagonise me throughout while demanding that my mother not be present.
Without going into the nitty gritty details, I've resisted filing breach notices as the financial penalties for my ex are severe and I know they're not doing great financially. However I've successfully filed one for last year and will be retrospectively filing notices for every other year (plus filing one for this year) if they don't comply this time around. I don't wanna bankrupt my ex but she constantly thumbs her nose at the order and gets her new husband to constantly antagonise me (in breach of the order he's not even allowed to be present). Their families have agreed to this approach (in consultation with an 'abduction expert') and I think that really... the time has come for them to realise that such actions have consequences.
Let's see how it goes. As usual I look forward to my visit and the opportunity of seeing my daughter. This year's gonna be the hardest yet and I can guarantee that my ex's husband will be peppering the police with false claims against me to try and get me locked up for assaulting him.
Fortunately I'm a lover and not a fighter, so there's zero risk of me falling for such childish traps. I've just gotta be cool, calm and factual with a touch of assertiveness to make it clear to him that he's in breach of the order... I'm just there to see my daughter.
