  • How many gold medals will Australia win?

    Yay, it's the Olympics.

I think most of our golds will be won in the pool (such a bold prediction, right).

    In total, I think we'll win 13 - 16 gold medals.

    An outside target is 20.
1985: 1 try vs Parramatta, 1 try vs Manly, 1 try vs Wests, 2 tries vs Souffs
1986: 2 tries vs Illawarra, 1 try vs Balmain, 2 tries vs Norths.

I’ll say 16, but hope for way more of course.

          I think it's a distinct possibility.

Why is that - getting people active and participating in Sport and Exercise is a good thing

Yep agree with that but I don't think we need countries spending billions of taxpayers money on stadiums and facilities that in some cases are left to ruin .Much better things like hospitals , housing , schools and ECT to use the money for .I get you can say the same about football stadium but they are used on a much regular basis

I couldn't give a Fat Rat's Arse. The Olympics is riddled with corruption.

Gold to Grace Brown in the cycling road - time trial

The synchronised divers absolutely choked their last dive and blew a podium finish.

The Rugby 7s team were absolutely diabolical in the semi final against Fiji. They scored the first try but then just kept turning over possession to let the opposition score at will. Hopeless diffusing the kick off, hopeless in the line outs, hopeless in the rucks. Jesus I hate that stupid game and I hate the nit picking blind refs even more.

The bronze medal play-off game was just another example of why Rugby Union (and its bastard child) is the hardest game in the world to get behind. Horrendous to watch referees orchestrate the results - it's a bit like watching KKKlein ref Easts.
