Too much BMXing last night. A bits ok but like to see 9 diversify their coverage a bit. I know they have multiple channels but most people just consume the one. And their commentary teams are a bit poor. Poor old John Harker had to call the women's water polo solo. You need two taters for effect or it dies in the bum.

John Harker has been calling waterpolo for many years as far as my memory serves me. I can tolerate most sports, but I'll NEVER watch the gymnastics (twirly ribbons and hoops anyone?) and I certainly won't be watching the breakdancing. Ch9 are absolutely obsessed with gymnastics. Hour after hour after hour of pre-pubescent girls being filmed by perverts. Whenever the rare Aussie makes an appearance, it's usually to fall off the beam or the rings or to drop the bouncy ball. The above example is relevant to biological males claiming to be female and, in some cases, being allowed to use change rooms, bathrooms together with young teenage girls.

However I learn that this Olympic boxer may not have been born with male genitalia as such but had all other male characteristics incl XY chromsomes. This is why "she" and another Olympic boxer were banned from the World Championships by the International Boxing Assoc. Yet they are allowed to compete against genuine female athletes. It's especially a concern with the physical combat sports such as boxing due to the physical danger. But also it doesn't allow female athletes to compete on an even playing field in any sport where strength, speed etc. are required.

Someone like Kath Deeves in our own country has been fearlessly tireless in exposing the danger and unfairness with men competing in women's sports. But, cos she's on the wrong side of the political spectrum, the left have tarnished her relentlessly.
