My previous comment went unanswered? What did they do to get banned?

From what I saw, Les was just a very pessimistic but sometimes correct contributor that called out poor performances but seldom praised the good ones. Annoying but not worthy of banning.

Need mixed views otherwise it's boring.

Coggy (Ray Stehr) said something very offensive, possibly quite racist . I didn't see the actual post, but there were remarks about it and it may have been deleted by the mods...

The other two not sure, but Les I am sure was a Souffs troll, who was clearly on an agenda...

BBR, I remember was warned by the admins more than once he was skating on very thin ice. Anyway I am sure they will be back over time.....

I don't really miss them apart from I did enjoy the old Coggy, I do know he is a passionate Rooster. and was good value most of the time even though his ideas sometimes were just plain stupid lol.....who could ever forget his 'Jayden Nikorima is the Saviour' thread, up there with Large Mikes 'Teddy is the worst recruit in the last 25 years' thread lol.......

You get banned and you come back. Big deal. Most posters here have been banned before. Ban the virtue signalers.

I was banned a bit back in the day lol..........but maybe not quite as much as you or Turk lol.......getting banned, it was no real big deal.

I am sure they will be back one way or the other, if not, they then have lost interest and wouldn't add to the colour of the place anymore even if they weren't banned.....

TBH I have mellowed a lot since those rowdy days......

Threads being closed at the drop of a hat.
Posters being banned willy nilly.

I enjoy reading different opinions. Banning posters like Les, Ray, BBR ( yes even him) & others gives the place a sanitised feel.

What happened to freedom of speech?
Are we all supposed to talk & think the same way?

Unless it's derogatory or has violent under tones then why the need to remove.

You get worse bias & bad content on certain TV shows & radio stations these days.

Gotta be very careful these days...defamation could knock on your door if you write one word out of place.
You can be banned for a long time from attending NRL matches,... and from stadiums, for one word out of place at games.
Free speech is one thing, defamation is quite another.
