Well i did say earlier that i didn't know enough about Harris to have a strong opinion......so you're saying that i should have an opinion nonetheless because its just a " opinion show"?

Stating that CNN fact checked her telling over "100 lies in 34 minutes" isn't a opinion- its a statement thats either true or not true- and of course it's not true.

I remember social media being lit up declaring that Trump told People magazine in 1998 that Republicans are “the dumbest group of voters in the country”. That was also not an opinion, it was a statement- and a FALSE statement at that.

So you can call it a slave to "evidence"..... i call it seeking facts to help you form an opinion. I try to do that with all facets of life.....however im human and sometimes i get it wrong!

US accuses Russian state media of working to influence 2024 presidential election

The United States has charged two employees of a Russian state media company for working to influence the 2024 presidential election.

Money laundering charges against two employees of Russian state media network RT were filed by the US Department of Justice on Wednesday, local time.

Department officials said the two employees used shell companies and fake personas to pay $US10 million ($14.88 million) to an unnamed Tennessee company to produce online videos aimed at amplifying political divisions in the US.

The US Treasury and State departments also announced actions targeting RT, including the network's top editor, Margarita Simonovna Simonyan.

US officials said Russia's goal is to exacerbate internal political divisions in the US and weaken public support for American aid to Ukraine in its war with Russia.

Russian President Vladimir Putin was aware of actions by news outlet RT to influence the 2024 US presidential election, the White House said on Wednesday.

"We believe Mr Putin was witting of these actions," National Security Council spokesman John Kirby said.

Politics aside, IMO this is why it's important to be calm and not buy into outrage. There's outside forces that put a lot of effort into trying to spoil trust and stability within the democratic world.

One needs to be careful which stories they're spruiking as a lot are gonna be fake, intentionally divisive pieces of messaging that aim to divide us.

I'd be very careful of getting involved in divisive arguments and getting into a tizz about US election candidates. IMO the best outcome is a peaceful election where people have their heads screwed on and celebrate the fact that their votes are counted. This is important and one should take their vote seriously.

Just more media Sky/Fox BS against Kamala Harris. A lie every 20 seconds - please, give me a break.

Only Ashley Klein could better that for his obvious bias when penalising/sin binning Roosters players in less than a half of football.

Kamala (pronounced comma, punctuation then la if anyone doesn't know) will destroy that orange headed fool who has his head shoved so far up his backside he can't see daylight.
"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

They all get it Jax. Trump just keeps powering on. His campaign is just like his golf game. Straight and consistent. I'm a golfer and the idea that Biden would even claim he good beat Trump is ridiculous. He is a genuine 1 or 2 handicap at 78 years old. Amazing.

Im old enough to remember conservative opinion writer Charles Krauthammer when he came up with the phrase “Bush Derangement Syndrome” in 2003, defining it as: “The acute onset of paranoia in otherwise normal people in reaction to the policies, the presidency — nay — the very existence of George W. Bush.”

The term surfaced again during President Obama’s tenure — this time liberal pundits used “Obama Derangement Syndrome” to describe conservatives’ adverse reactions to his policies.

It's just a lazy way of deflecting criticism against whoever it is you support without addressing the reasons why.

Heres a example. If you were a female looking to see answers on how he would handle the affordability of childcare then yesterdays question to Trump at the prestigious Economic Club of New York would have been a great opportunity to win some votes.

                This was his answer https://www.mediaite.com/trump/trump...re-affordable/

Pointing this out is part of my TDS i guess. Or pointing out 2 days ago he was telling Mark Levine live on Fox that "Kamala is a nasty person and what she did to Mike Pence was horrible" and its been a few times he has confused Biden with Pence

TDS or not, whoever wins this election in the US makes no difference to me. Id hate to see whoever does lose the election not accept it- democracy can turn into autocracy very quickly and spread overseas quickly too

Luckily in Australia we are smarter than that.

I think there is a marked difference with TDS though Random Rooster. His haters pick up on points that are often lies, whilst glossing over or spin doctoring the blatant misgivings of the Dems side. Completely ignoring his achievements in office too obviously. And the Obama legacy was windswept on a subservient media who placed the idiot under no scrutiny, basically getting a golden run. Trumps treatment by the media, lawmakers and judiciary has no precedent for its unashamed bias and intent on getting their man. TDS is sadly unique.

every pollie gets at least some unfair treatment from the other side. to call people deranged when they call trump an orange headed fool is putting the bar pretty low.

maybe trump gets a bit more of it than other pollies but it's not like he's a choir boy treating his opponents with respect and always telling the truth

Why would he do that? Tour professionals don't carry their own bags. You know President Trump is a multi-billionaire right??

Joe's got the physical stamina and strength of Monty Burns. If he swung a golf club his arm would break off.

Yeah i keep telling my kids that getting old is overrated. It often doesn't discriminate either. In a Mark Levin interview four days ago The Don said about Harris "the way she treated Mike Pence was horrible'". Then last night with Hannity he told the New Hampshire audience "theres no way anyone should vote for Biden". Hannity really should have reminded him the first time that Biden wasn't running because twice after that The Don mentioned Biden as his opponent.

I know, I know TDS. Trump is entertaining i guess, especially if you're not a US citizen!

I wouldn't put my house on it! Its the USA not Australia.....very different animals.

Anyhow....my Trump Derangement Syndrome doesn't get in the way of some cold hard facts......

The swing states that Biden won in 2020 were Arizona, Georgia, Michigan, Pennsylvania, and Wisconsin. This is where the election will be won and lost. At the moment theres hardly anything Trump and Harris in these states. Going into the 2020 the polls had Biden way in front in these states, yet he really only fell in. If you draw a comparison between these states now and in 2020 then its logical that Trump would be a slight favourite to win
