very tight race. rfk dropping out will probably benefit harris in the overall vote but in the swing states where it matters it's not clear cut.

Former US President Bill Clinton was back in his element — in front of an applauding crowd. (Reuters: Brendan Mcdermid)

"Two days ago, I turned 78. The oldest man in my family of four generations," he said.

"And the only personal vanity I want to assert is I'm still younger than Donald Trump."

Sorry but I just remember anger, conspiracies and global tension during his tenure. Nice story that it was a peaceful term though
Admit it Izzy, you had it good under St Donald. Petrol was much cheaper, mortgage rates were low inflation/cost of living was low. No major conflicts in the world, unlike now.
Interesting you blame Trump for China's bans and tariffs on our produce. Everyone on the left at the time blamed Scomo, for standing up to China. But, whatever fits your narrative.

Didn’t Trump call Kennedy the ‘dumbest member of the Kennedy family’ and a ‘radical left lunatic’. In return Kennedy called Trump a ‘terrible human being’ and a ‘sociopath’ (not wrong there)? Why the change of heart?

good to see us honouring the hero cop at today's game.
trump wants cops to vote for him - and maybe a lot do - but he did nothing to ensure their well being on jan 6 at the capitol. what would have been wrong with him saying at the rally - 'go to the capitol. make your point, but don't cause hassles for the cops, they're only doing their job'. one cop died on the day from a stroke after engaging with the protesters and 4 killed themselves in the days and months after.
the army aren't too happy with his recent trip to the war grave either.

The cop's death was unrelated. He died much later after a stroke. Though one of the cops shot dead an unarmed white woman on the day.
Jack Dorsey finally admitted that Twitter removed several of Donald's tweets as soon as they were posted calling for the protesters to peacefully leave the capital building and go home.

The families of the 13 soldiers who were honoured at the Arlington memorial personally invited Trump to the ceremony.

unrelated? he died from a stroke on the same day as he was confronted by an angry mob. four cops killed themselves afterwards. the deaths weren't intentional but to say they're unrelated is overstating it.
when trump gave his speech, encouraging them to march on the capitol he should have told them not to break the law. no problems with peaceful protest - even if it was based on the dubious claim of a stolen election - but trump didn't show consideration to the well-being of the cops defending the capitol.
what's wrong with him saying 'i know you're angry, i'm angry, but ffs don't hassle the cops - they're our people and they're just doing their job'

"Washington's chief medical examiner has determined that U.S. Capitol Police Officer Brian Sicknick died of natural causes the day after the riot on Jan. 6 after he suffered two strokes.

The autopsy revealed that Sicknick, 42, said the strokes at the base of the brain stem were caused by a blood clot, Chief Medical Examiner Francisco Diaz said.

The formal finding was that the death was caused by "acute brainstem and cerebellar infarcts due to acute basilar artery thrombosis" and that the manner of death was "natural."
