How successful are you

I graduated from ANU with a double degree in Economics and Asian Studies (Japanese major). It was something I was and am very proud of and would love those bully losers from school to know what I did. It never really lead to any great success in terms of a career though lol.

Surfed a well known spot down the South Coast, wind died down and waves were fun (about headhigh and just over headhigh). I was out in it by myself as it looked crap an hour earlier and the crowd didnt check the forecast tools lol..... not that this spot ever gets real crowded, its quite a heavy wave, even when small.

Out in nature, saw the sun about to set and a just few rock fisherman (women??) a hundred or so yards away plus heard some native birds chirping away in the bush nearby.

Plus I didnt get attacked by a Shark......now that is what I call a sucess.......

Can think of quite a few senior, public sector economists who followed that path. Guessing if you're in Canberra, you've had a decent enough career with that kinda skillset. Guessing you've had your fair share of success in life

I’m feeling very Confucius right now Andy. I’m on my back with my foot up again so have about 8 weeks to contemplate the meaning of life.

I don't feel successful, but I found out yesterday I passed an exam I thought I had definitely failed.

I am just 1 unit from away from being a tax lawyer and a professional tax accountant and I got through law a few years back while working fulltime etc....it was a struggle.

I am somewhat successful in meeting some challenges in life etc but deep down I don't really feel successful, from others perspective they say I should be proud of what I have done. They say especially combining with the other stuff I have done in life in the sporting and even artistic fields as well as having a now grown up child who has faced more challenges than most of us would have been forced to take on even before the age of 5..........

When it boils down to one thing and its 1 million percent more important than the other stuff, its a not brainer, I am proud to say my greatest success is my daughter who has bloomed so much in her life.....sorry about being deep.

If there are typos etc my eyes are shot from too much studying lol.....
