That’s easily done. Especially if you let some greedy little buggers help themselves.

Well our next door neighbour hasn't always been the most intelligent when it comes to common sense.
Just watched another person across the road who is a cop and he was taking his son who is very young out, his boy was just dressed in a simple white sheet as a ghost and i heard him say thank you when he got a some lollies from the next door to his place, that was so nice and refreshing after hearing earlier some of the kids in groups just screaming.

If they had a seafood buffet set up with oysters and prawns that might be the case but haven't really got a sweet tooth when it comes to lollies. Mind you i will probably have some chocolate before going to bed.

I'm sick this week and we only just got back from Europe so I didn't do a full on spook house this year (usually I open up the mancave to local kids and get some halloween style games cranking on my arcade machines).

However, I carved a few pumpkins, chucked them out the front with tea candles and left a bowl of lollies with a sign saying 'take one please'. Inevitably the local equivalent of Jimbo Jones and Nelson Muntz came around and bagged as many as possible. Didn't really bother me as I figured it was an honesty system and it's on them if they wanna ruin it for others...

On a local FB group a Karen became extremely upset about these kids and described them as though they were the mafia or something. Her description was hilarious as I saw them and it was just a bunch of silly ~10 year olds grabbing full tote bags full of lollies... not a mob of gangsters.

My reflection is that today's kids are pretty tame if all they do is take a handful of lollies instead of blowing up your letterbox and egging your house. Heck... down in the Gong as a kid, the local thugs woulda just trashed your house most nights anyway (they had no need for sugar as their parents already gave then an ample supply of durries, weed and beer aged ~10).

Not sure if trick or treat is really a concept anymore? IMO it's just treat or 'sorry mate we're out... BYE'. If anybody tried any tricks, the cops would probably be called or something.
