Though I'm not at all for funding Russian companies right now, it was tempting to buy some Russian vodka tax-free at various airports (it's very cheap when you remove the tax).

However when in Rome (or Valtellina in my case) it's far more productive to buy Italian wines, limoncello and grappa. I'll leave the vodka for the Russians as their winter is approaching and it's probably more affordable than paying for heating right now.

Vodka mixed with juice or a cruiser or similar. Only once a year at Christmas or on very special, rare occasions.

Smirnoff have a new vodka crush range out now, Orange & Pineapple, Lemon & Lime and Mango & Peach, dropped past work to say hello the other day and one of the reps were in and they had samples of them, i got the lemon and lime one but haven't tried it yet. I like the idea of orange pineapple flavour.

I’ll definitely look into this. The orange pineapple sounds good and so looks like my Christmas drink is sorted. Thanks Horrie.
