  • #47 The Presidency of Donald J Trump 24-28

This is a thread for Trump lovers who would like to discuss his presidency in a positive manner.

I'm looking forward to watching him end the war in Ukraine. He says it will be swift. Let's see what he does.

He is definitely a President like no other. Simply because he has no fear In backing his judgement. He is not a slave to the party machine, and can't be bought like a lot of leaders. That's why even if you don't respect him, you kind of fear him.

Great leaders of past like Howard and Hawke here, Reagan and even Thatcher didn't quite have his guts or dynamism. Maggie came close in that she didn't care about offending people to pursue her aims. He is unique though and can really shape the world.

There's a series on President Trump that most recently featured him and his advisory group watching Kamala's speech live and critiquing it. It's fascinating to watch how he operates and controls a room, along with his well documented humour. I watched it last night but can only source small grabs on YouTube atm not the full show.

Also watching with interest how he tackles the issue of Iran and its terrorist operation. The US urgently needs to re-establish its relationship with Israel and provide unequivocal support. Trusting the big fella.

The great man has a little bit of 'carny'' in him. He can work a crowd as well as or better than most professional entertainers. He is a master deal maker but like you say the man has no fear.

An accurate descriptor...and I like the 'carny' attribute.

He is a showman yes, has a great sense of comedic timing. Gough was funny back in the day too, when I was a Labor die-hard

One of the Don's zingers that I still can't help laughing at today was during the debate with Joe Biden. Poor old Joe didn't know where he even was, and one answer combined every issue into one response and he mumbled the words "we beat medicare" towards the end of it.

Cross back to President Trump and he offers "Yeah you beat Medicare alright, you beat it to death".....

              It still cracks me up.

So, after USA promised that if Ukraine gave up its nukes and that if Russia ever attacked that they would come to their defense and now they will stop funding them. Is it fair that they give up land to a aggressor. Would you give up part of your home in Brisbane to an aggressor. I would hope not and nor should you be made or expected to

Please don't try to engage me in conversation. I have never lived anywhere near Brisbane.

The carny thing used to be an insult but I view it as a compliment. It's part of his charisma and his resilience.

Trump may be a tool however he's a very successful business man who will use his presidency to increase his wealth.

Great time to buy shares in companies owned by Trump if you're that way inclined.

Looks like K Rudd could be facing the music soon. That cryptic post yesterday could be a sign.

Krudd, Wong, Albo, Bowen have all dumped on the Don in the no so distant past. It's embarrassing at best, and untenable at worst. Somethings gotta give, he won't suffer fools gladly.
