Ah I didn’t think so but just checking. You’re right, once you work out they think a little differently and see things more from a factual analytical side and less from social queues and norms, it’s very easy to understand them and have a conversation.

Some of my friends I grew up with batted left handed and bowled right handed and even one vice versa.

Sometimes it came down to who your favourite player or how your Dad, Mom or older brother or sister made you take your stance. It is amazing how the body and muscle memory adapts....

That is insane re the Sri Lankan bowler, I cant say I have seen him play. I don't really watch a real lot of cricket now apart from highlights and a bit here or there when I have nothing to do....

Dave Warner can bat right handed pretty well....

I actually could kick with either foot playing footy coming through the juniors and could even goal kick with the left or right foot. Playing soccer helped and I was amazed by Mike Eden and practised really hard to kick goals on my less favored foot.....

I play touch footy (not very well lol and do get intercepted a bit lol) and can throw a pretty long spiral ball both sides, its a pretty good party trick lol......took a lot of practise and understanding body position with the hips shoulders etc to be able to do it........I did practise it a lot when young. But when I dont play or practise for a while now, it takes a bit of repetition again to get it right. It doesnt feel as natural as my left to right pass......

Nobody has slagged anyone off for being on the spectrum I am friends with and regularly speak to people whom are on the spectrum. I think it is in Voods Trump thread where MR and myself discuss this in a little detail It’s on page 5 of that thread

I don’t think Andy has attacked anyone for being neurodiverse at all. He is genuine when he says he knows a lot on the spectrum and talks to them regularly. Being a mum to a son with a diagnosis, I am confident he has much respect for them. I also don’t recall ism claiming he was neurodiverse anyway, but it’s not like I read every post ever posted on here.

Will have to agree to disagree on this one. I’m a pretty good judge of a whole person’s character and personality. We’re all different and have many different facets to our personalities. AW is opinionated and fiery when he doesn’t like what someone says and at times annoying when he goes on about the same thing but the conversation we had in the other thread regarding ASD suggested to me that he’s not at all judgmental about people on the spectrum and converses with them regularly and has a good understanding of their little quirks. I’m fully expecting a retort from Andy now on the fiery and annoying comment lol. But my comments also extend to ism, who insists on claiming that Andy has multiple alts. This is ridiculous for the same reason - we all have different facets to our personalities. To say every single account is the same person because they all support Trump or right wing is ridiculous. People’s political preference is only one aspect of their personality. It is obvious to me I’m not talking to the same person when I talk to AW or Voodoo or whoever else is an alleged alt. Are RR and ism himself the same person because they both hate trump? Or me for that matter?

Hate is such a hard word.I think if he was Australian and dismantling our democracy by fooling the lower and middle class into believing he actually gives a shit about them....then yeah id hate him. Fair enough. I have MH diagnoses in my extended family too so I very much get what you’re saying which is why I mentioned a while back that I don’t like the constant badgering and supported your support of the victim. But something else happened last week too which was also blatantly wrong. I also suspect he wasn’t acting alone.

But anyway, I think that’s all I have to say on the subject for now.

Agreed. It's a no go zone and it's part of the reason I've had to draw the line. The less I say, the better.

Thanks to Andy and yourself for clearing it up for me,

I didnt think of any particular poster either, just put 2 and 2 together from the posts and thought someone (definitely not Andy) must have said something derogatory in the not so recent past about a poster who may have been neurodiverse......That is a line if crossed, that totally triggers me, having an Autistic daughter who has other issues as well.....
