I think one of the most stupid outrageous things I heard recently was a convicted murderer given permission to start IVF treatment while in jail and the poor baby being raised while she was still serving her sentence.

A few questions for the moderators:

* Why is the witless Random Rooster allowed to label someone "in need of a root", yet when I replied appropriately to smack the weakheart down, my post is deleted?

* Why is he allowed to spruik unedited and publicly supported by mods?

* Why was my post identifying two tiered policing by the moderators deleted?

* Why does Dr Voodoo Man get banned for saying exactly the same words of someone, and the alternate contributor can say same without even a caution/or deletion?

You guys are turning an already barren forum into one that only supports certain political viewpoints. Obviously not unprecedented on social media, but rather disappointing at the least.

Your problem with me is i have completely opposite political views than you, and i back them up with sound arguments. Then when the minions like Voodoo come at me with personal attacks, because thats all they got, you cheer them on from a distance like a coward. When they get banned you play the political victim and start throwing the toys out of the cot and end up in the fetal position.

Not sure if anyone cares what I say on the subject and I feel quite torn on what’s happening here. It used to be a fun place to chat and even when we disagreed on certain issues, we all still got along. Now all I feel in here is tension and animosity.

But for my two cents worth I feel on the one hand Voods had a banning coming, not because of his political views but because he was becoming increasingly abusive and nasty and confrontational. He had a go at me too and while we sorted that out and he was being polite to me again he was continuing to abuse certain posters. I don’t think the moderators had much choice there. He was given plenty of warnings. In saying that I wouldn’t have a problem if the ban was just a good sin bin.

On the other hand, I think that other members were able to escape any sort of banning / sin bin at all for airing some ridiculous accusations. Presumably there’s an explanation, but this is where my frustration comes in as it doesn’t appear to be fair.

Anyway I hate the tension in here at the moment.

Well to be fair, i did say "underlying aggro makes you come across as someone who is in badly need of a root. Relax a little!" in response to Jacks niggling. I didn't say he needs one or go get one!!

I mean i was away for 5 weeks and by the time i came back there was a host of threads closed and reading through them its not hard to see why and who was responsible- he just doesn't stop- egged on by the happy gang

No RR, I wasn’t referring to you by any means. I think you may have been on a break when the things I’m referring to in my second paragraph happened.

As far as your comment to Jack, I think you were both giving it to each other from what I could tell so I’ll keep out of that. I don’t think politics is worth getting all aggro about on any side. I mean Trump winning the election caused me to sulk for a few days but it was never forefront of my mind and worth getting all aggro over. I like your reasoning for setting up this thread so as to avoid confrontation in the Trump thread. Unfortunately it looks like that hasn’t gone to plan.
