How many times have they floated that idea.

    Just get it done already!

I seem to have forgotten what I had for dinner with all this excitement about trains.

As long as it stops at Husky but bypasses Nowra that would be great

            Everything should bypass Nowra.

I reckon the high speed rail link from Sydney to Melbourne has more chance of being built before the by pass of Nowra will get down, both have been talked about for years and still nothing.

Going down to Berry for a few days and hopefully will not go near Nowra but i do want to check out Maeve O Meara's business in Currarong so that would mean driving through the sh*t hole called Nowra.

                    What's wrong with Nowra?

On another note about twains, our lovely little Union and State Govt have managed a Friday/Saturday complete train strike for Sydney this weekend. Barring an 11th hour change of heart.

Exactly. Who’d live in a place where rail employees can cripple an entire city!

Maybe because we have the most beautiful harbour in the world and it is a gun fishing spot also.

These guys earn a decent buck and are gunning for a 32% pay rise. It's hard to be sympathetic to their cause when some cats haven't even got a job.

We just recently had a bus strike. No pre-warning. Kids found out on the morning that buses weren’t running and they couldn’t get to school. Some had senior end of year exams that day. Are we allowed to discuss buses in the train thread?
