Hamas had that massive underground tunnel network that civilians could use to shelter in, but they refused the civilians access to this, saying it was for Hamas only.

The same as food and medical provisions delivered during the pause in the fighting, as they commandeered these trucks, saying this is for Hamas only and any food and medical provisions left over will then be handed out to civilians.

I'm very aware of Israels support of Hamas at their beginning (its been mentioned in this thread before) and i'm also very aware that the history between Palestine and Israel didn't start on October 7th 2023. I too am aware that the Hamas Covenant calls for the annihilation of all of Israel and its citizens- that's actually saying "i am evil" in writing.

None of it excuses slaughtering innocent civilians from either side. I dont give a shit if it was a military operation, a terrorist attack, a sunday picnic or whatever you want to call it- you dont kill innocent civilians- you just dont.

i was talking about what the media should be like. prescriptive, not descriptive.
it occurs to me that, in fact, new media these days often makes no attempt at balance - even while claiming 'balance' as a kind of aside at what they see as a media dominated by the other side.
