As a swinging voter, I thought you might like some of their values, and dislike others..

Of course I do. Dutton and Abbott are from what the centre-right? They think people on Centrelink are all cheats and bludgers. Robodebt was a great idea to taint all with the same brush. They call you woke because you believe people who are in the minority should not be given assistance to enable them to be on a level playing field. They don’t believe people in the minority are at a disadvantage to begin with. I was born legally blind. I was bullied all my life because of my appearance. I had to suffer at school because I was expected to fit into the school’s way of doing things which catered to the majority. Yet I was in all humility one of the smartest kids at school. I should have done better but was disadvantaged due to my eyesight. Those with less interest in school work had all the advantages and resources which went to waste. I live in a world now where everything is geared towards people with normal vision or vision that can be corrected by glasses. In other words, I know what it’s like to live in the minority. I have a child on the spectrum also. He received so much more help at school than I ever did because so-called wokeness actually helped him.

As far as moderate Liberal values go, I believe in people being given the opportunity to set out on their own course. I’m a firm supporter of small business and small enterprise.

I believe that a lot of those who identify themselves as right these days also identify as anti-woke. They certainly use the woke term to deride anyone who’s too soft on what THEY classify as woke issues, therefore one can only deduce all this ‘wokeness’ gets up their nose. To me it’s not woke. It’s common decency.

Politics has changed for the worse the past 20 years. We should not be labelling helping the disadvantaged as woke, which is in essence a derogatory term.

My father was always a LNP voter. He also went into small business for s small period. I genuinely was a swinging voter for a long time. Then all this anti-woke nonsense became the dividing line which the right used to separate people. It’s ridiculous and I hate it immensely. Yes hate.

Woke - AUS has legislation covering all of these areas though. What areas are not legislated for?

I was amazed at your having ten siblings Sal. Mum must have been superwoman, I found two trying. But the Child Endowment payments were quite generous which would have helped enormously. Not sure how to check ACM. I can’t be 100% certain of course but pretty sure it’s been said that you are apparently Paddo. As is AW and Voods. So is JFC. As I took sides with these posters against the bizarre claims, despite otherwise showing support most other times over many years, I’m on that list too. I tried to explain that you’re all different people but apparently you’re one person with multiple alts.
