Hmmm....there's an assumption here that 'balance' is something to aspire to or admire.

What if, hypothetically, you had one side (of anything) practicing good and another side practising evil...would seeing pros and cons on both sides (a balance) be desirable?

Getting a balanced view will still lead you to the truth of right or wrong.

Just because one news source or news sources owned by the same entity says something is evil or good doesn't make it so.

Often you have to look a little deeper than what the media will have you believe is good or evil. As Roosters supporters we don’t believe the media narrative that is spun then regurgitated by brainwashed opposition fans as if it’s gospel, yet we’re so easily mislead on other issues. So yes, I question things I’m told and recognise bias everywhere. Politics these days is full of it and all politicians care about is getting elected and if one side says something you can almost guarantee the other will come out and say the complete opposite.

Hamas are a evil terrorist organisation. The October 6th attacks were a disgrace and Israel, like any other country who is attacked in that manner, has the right to defend themselves.

This doesn't give Israel, like any other country, the right to bomb indiscriminately killing civilians.....like they have resumed doing today. If someone only watches Sky News Australia they will say my last sentence makes me antisemitic and i should be supporting Israels bombings. Of course they would say that too- no balance in watching Sky News Aust or Fox News who just drum it into you that all Palestinians are evil....and if they all evil then they can do no good, so bombing away killing evil indiscriminately is a good thing,

60,000 plus civilians dead, 18,000 of which are children, blocking aid and using hunger as a weapon, no i wont support this in any form. Fighting violence with violence never ends well both in the long and short term

What's your view of the Houthis then? Tens of Millions are starving in Yemen and all they are worried about is firing rockets at Naval and Commercial Shipping in International Waters. The latest one is a video with a sinking burning Naval Ship (US one) in the background and coffins draped with the USA Flag floating in the water in front of it.

Do terrorist groups really give a XXXX about civilians though, or consider them and their plight when they undertake whatever action it is?

Hamas had that massive underground tunnel network that civilians could use to shelter in, but they refused the civilians access to this, saying it was for Hamas only.

The same as food and medical provisions delivered during the pause in the fighting, as they commandeered these trucks, saying this is for Hamas only and any food and medical provisions left over will then be handed out to civilians.

Still doing it now and selling these aid items at a premium price - wages for Hamas Operatives and new recruits.
