And WA......my favourite animal in the entire world is the meercat...so I can understand why you would want to hang with them....

Phantom, do you by any chance watch Meerkat Manor on Sundays on Ch 10??? Tune in all the time for it.
Don't be afraid to step out in the rain. Take a chance. Sometimes the only way to get your rainbow is by getting wet.

I did the zoo thing with the kids and wife last year when we were in Sydney, it was really fun actually. I was pleased to learn you can get beer there now, I didnt feel like carrying an esky all day.

You can get beer?????? WTF! One outlet selling grog and the line was HUGE!!!

Considering they were charging $9.00 for a chicken wrap, I would have been terrified to find out how much a beer cost.....

Thats sounds like it could be a date WA,i wont commit to anything just yet though as i have been told there is about 10 inches of dust to remove at home plus the painting of the two bedrooms, lucky i have been running off to work avoiding the hard work at home at the moment.

The other thing i remember about the last visit to the zoo was the bird show,it was amazing, even the trained rats running along the fence that were part of the show were great.

That's fine Horrie, we'll play it by ear. oh yuk, all that dust to remove......even down the track you'll still find some. Remember when cyclone Alby went through the south of our state, Mum & I were still cleaning away red dust months later.

Painting is not so bad but that's not an offer of help. LOL!

I wondered after the show whether the rats would end up on the menu for some of the larger animals

See the baby elephant has a name............ Luk Chai - which means "son" or "male child" in Thai.
