  • Looking for a Tablet

No not those tablets but a tablet to use like an iPad. Looking for one that is flash compatible so I can use them to stream live videos. Unfortunately Ipads are not flash compatible and these video stream require that so if anyone has any suggestions into getting a good quality Android tablet, let me know. I am researching everywhere and getting all these conflicting information so I don't want to buy the wrong one. The one which i was looking at today was the Samsung 10.1 tablet 16gig wi-fi only(which is OK). Anyway, if you know of any that may work with sites like Vipbox.tv, let me know.
    Thanks

I don't have any technical info, but I read recently that Google is releasing a tablet.

      Are you sure?
Think that changed from late last year for iPad/iPhone.

Yeah just found a bit more on it.
Apparently all to do with a falling out with Jobs & Adobe, ages ago.

And yeah know people with the Samsung who love em.

Ok for a serious answer just get a Samsung tablet. I got the Sgs2 phone which is great so the tablet should be good too.

Didn't want another sniffer dog bust

So if you have one, your able to get these streaming sites on that? I was looking at the Samsung. Poor camera res but that's not the purpose of it. Im not interested in the 3G version as I will only use it with wi-fi but hows the wi-fi reception? Also, with these streaming sites, I may need to install Firefox. Is that all good with this one?

I use an Acer A500, it,s just as good as the Samsung but cheaper. But if you want the best the Asus transformer prime is judged by most as the best Android tab.

Yes I've read about the Asus Prime...quite powerful but don't want to overspend on a tab but will consider it. What do you find good about the Acer A500? Does it stream sites like vipbox.tv for live footy streams? Camera wise? Does it support Skype and is your version a 3G? >lastly, how much did you pay for it? I'm going to Hawaii in 3 wks and want to be able to watch the footy live if possible. Thanks for your info Arties.
