Nelson was better than Turnbull in my view. Turnbull's just a power hungry, rich banker who tries to paint a story of having a poor, disadvantages youth. The kinda poor, disadvantaged youth where you grow up in Woolahra and go to Sydney Grammar? I dunno... you then become filthy rich by being the only guy who didn't get busted during the HIH affair.

The guy stands for nothing and just wants to be our boss (i.e. Prime Minister)... not a guy who serves us, that's been his biggest mistake.

Unfortunately the state's stuffed because we have O'farrell playing politics rather than trying to help us. The Libs have wanted to do the power sale for oh so long (it's Liberal style... Howard/Costello always made their budgets look good by selling off big public companies...) but when the ALP wants to sell something and banks a comprehensive budget on it, what do they do? Block it...

Thanks Barry for wrecking the NSW economy and ensuring the power sale WON'T happen for a very long time (even under your power!) He'll be an undeserving leader...

Why would you want to see the power grid go into private control? What happens when everything is sold?

I find it hard to fathom why a private company would want to buy a public asset. Oh that's right, they can see a way to make money. Why can't the government see ways to make money from it? Oh that's right, they are idiots.

I'm with you... I DON'T support privatisation... I think it was a dumb plan, but the Libs didn't offer anything better, and voted against it simply in order to gain political high ground because it made the state budget go completely bust during a time of recession. In my view that's no reason to vote for a party...

The state ALP offered a surplus budget with plans for the future... the Libs tore it apart by blocking the backbone of its funding, and didn't offer a budget response, detailing how they would fix the state! Still haven't, AMAZING!

The State Libs are pretty ordinary but the State ALP is the biggest pile of crap that has every been in government in this country in any state.
