Anyone who can't hear Smoke on the Water and not air guitar has no soul.

Thank the Lord is all I can say.

That's at least two still in existence, then LOL
I have most of their LP's still in the cave.
Played them to death.....and annoyed my mum so much with them, at volume, that when I left home she had to go out & by a couple. She missed the music

Make that three.....and in excellent condition. I also have 'Physical Graffiti' on vinyl in perfect nick amongst about 150 other vinyl albums that I'll never part with. Some things are just worth more than money.

On Physical Graffiti....when it was released I had a mate comes running up to me and says "Zeppelin have just released a new album...it's called Physical Giraffe" couldn't stop laughing about it for ages.

I sometimes hear a song today and expect a skip or scratch, vinyl may have been imperfect but it had character and made the songs on it truly memorable.

                    Sad news

Here are a couple of curios, not quite as rocky as his Deep Purple days

                      Oh Man!

Why is this happening to all my favorites.

                      An absolute legend.

                      God bless his soul.

Meant to respond to this ages ago but never mind.

One of my most embarrissing moments was when I was very young (that's my excuse), I thought Olivia Newton John was a three piece band (Olivia, Newt & John). Swore black and blue I was right, debated this with my siblings and cost me three weeks pocket money

                            Can't beat that.

My other one was when I was listening to Elton John's 'Goodbye Yellow Brick Road' and being the mumbler I was (although nowhere near Pearce), my mum asked me what was playing and she thought I said "Goodbye Albert Road". Say it loud 3 times quickly - you'll get it.
