What you used to annoy/get to me was most people used to associate Deborah Harry being referred to as Blondie. A bit like Ian Anderson being to referred to as Jethro Tull? Nothing but the the name of the band.

"Do you expect me to talk"? "No, Mr. Bond, I expect you to die".

Not to be a pooper but Deborah Harry did say that she got the Marilyn thing in her youth and her nickname was Blondie so technically...blah blah blah.

How good was the album Aqualung? Might start a thread shortly with top 10 albums/musicians once this thread has run its course.
Anyone that puts Justin Bieber on the list should get banned for life - or referred to a hearing aid specialist.

I wish I'd got the Marilyn thing in my youth - not that I would have complained with Grace Kelly, Lauren Bacall, Kim Novak, Janet Leigh, the Hepburn's, etc.

I've got most of the Tull's LP's in the den.....read the LP paper of Thick As Brick over & over & all the while wondering "this is some really weird shit man"

                    Seriously talented band.
Pity we don't get much talent like this anymore

You know - if Caster Semenya didn't speak like Barry White, didn't have biceps like Mike Tyson, didn't shave or go to the boys room, I wish she'd actually won the gold medal.

But I won't judge - Marita Koch from all accounts was a lady in her own right despite advances from J. Edgar Hoover in his later years?

                              • This seems appropriate considering the way the boys played on Sunday against the Tgpies..
